Bank of Korea Governor Rhee Chang-yong's message for markets is that the political turmoil was short-lived and Korea has strong economic and market fundamentals. It comes after South Korea’s opposition called for the impeachment of President Yoon Suk Yeol after he plunged the nation into a political crisis by briefly imposing martial law.
