This episode we do something a little bit different... but kind of the same.

We were very keen to talk about the achievements of the Banter Podcast and thought theres no better way to do that then by having Past guests join us and talk it through.

We have all the hosts on this episode, and joining us are Ray Daniels from Barrel and Batch, Crafty Field from Craft Works, Dean Druce from Corowa Distilling, Fiona Beasley from Coburn and Co Distilling, Simon Khoury from Simon's Cigars and Spirits And Mark Teague of Whisky is my Jam fame!

We have a decent chat and get to know whats been happening with everyone over the last 12 months, and a little of what is planned going forward.

This week we are privileged to have two special guests on Banter with Chantal from Kinglake Distillery and Justin from Whisky in Isolation.

Chantal gives us a run down on everything to do with Kinglake from it's humble beginnings, to their mash bill, the barrels and the releases.

We even get the story about the First release and the issues they faced getting it out to the market.

Justin has released a Single malt from Kinglake and he gives us an insiders view of how it all works.

This is one of our favorite chats and some of us learnt so much and feel it is something you will also enjoy.

Another shorter format Episode cause it's all about the content right?

This episode we were treated by John to a sample each of Redbreast 21 year old.

wow what a dram. we compare it to quite a few other Redbreast releases and of course other distilleries.

We also can't let an episode go by without discussing an Australian distillery and tonight we chat about Starwards, Spring Bay and Wild River Mountain Distilleries Australian Whiskey Batch 4.

All cracking drams and well worth it if you can pick them up.. 

Of course this is probably best enjoyed in a comfy chair with a dram of your own, but short enough you could listen to it almost anywhere.

On Episode 34 we go International with our guest and have Ed Dersch @bourbongeek on from Chicago in the states.

For this reason we picked a time that worked for our guests which just happened to be at 10:00am on a Sunday Morning in Australia. Oh well you can't drink all day without starting in the morning... 

Ed is one of the co-hosts on Metal Rock Whiskey and of course we got a couple of tips off air, but he takes us through a wide range of topics like the podcast, music and of course whisk(e)y.

We discuss the music influencers on our lives and it seems we were mostly changed by the 80's and 90's.

There is though, a lot of eye opening information about whiskey in the states and we do actually discuss the sales of liquor in both the states and Australia. 

Naturally we do a what's in your glass which evolves into a discussion about several distilleries in both countries.

This one is a little longer so we hope you can sit and listen with a couple of drams in a comfortable chair, but of course you can listen almost anywhere, wherever you listen we trust you will enjoy the Banter over Whisky.
