I speak of the Tye Lue firing and surrounding drama, scoring going back to the mean, insult some professional reporters for no good reason (assuring I never get a real career in media) and talk about Halloween, in a TMI fashion. Best and Worst team of the week included.

I talk about the Paul vs Rondo fight, the high scoring, rank the most embarrassing and best playing teams and briefly talk about non-basketball stuff. It's good to be back.

The whole preview was held up by Jimmy Butler requesting a trade late September.  It really made it difficult to project the future of some teams.  And it makes it difficult to project the future of the Timberwolves.  If they have Butler, then they are probably going to be similar--maybe evne better, if Towns and Wiggins were working in the offseason--to how they were last year.  If they lose Butler, this is not a playoff team.  Either way, their future outlook is pretty dark.

Spo gets a lot out of this team.  They are at this point the Pat Riley dream.  Lots of interchangeable parts that are on the same mission.  Well except for Whiteside.  But Spo has enough juice to sit him when he's not helping.  Unfortunately the interchangable parts seems to fall apart in the playoffs, where stars tend to dictate how things go.  The Jimmy Butler trade would turn one of these itnerchangeable parts into a superstar which would up buck this, and would up their ceiling signifigantly, and I could see them in the Finals.
