This time on BSG, the fallout from season three’s finale takes full effect, as Kara returns to the fleet, the Cylons make a startling discovery, and Gaius Baltar finally finds his people.
In our analysis, Mike bitches about waiting a year and a half for this excellent episode.
Matt is happy that (most) everyone is happy for Kara.

Mike’s a known exaggerator, so you might not be shocked to find out there was only a year or so between “Crossroads” and “He That Believeth in Me,” not a year and a half. That is, if you believe the air dates published on Wikipedia, and not Mike’s cliffhanger-tortured mind.
So: Captain Kirk talking robots to death via logical paradoxes is an entire thing. It’s basically a Star Trek sub-genre. Here, Roslin and Six get in on the action, via their conversation about the Final Five.

No reason to get excited. It’s just BSG’s season three finale.
This time on BSG: The trial of Gaius Baltar. Four of the Final Five revealed. And Kara Thrace returns.
In our analysis, Pat pokes holes in Romo Lampkin’s defense.
Matt is swept up in the possibilities the Final Five present.
Mike is ready for all this to happen again.
Some observations and links of note:
First, a little behind-the-scenes. We talked about these episodes for over two and a half hours. Pat, bless his soul, edited our conversation down to under two hours. That’s still really long for our show, but hot dang if these episodes don’t deserve it. Hopefully, you don’t feel like we dragged on. (And if you do, I recommend listening at 1.3 speed.)

Apparently, the cast gave Jamie Bamber a standing ovation after delivering his “BSG treatise” from the stand for the first time. He deserved it; that speech is, essentially, what Battlestar is all about.

This time on BSG, there’s no time to mourn Starbuck’s death, because we’ve got a trial to get to.
In our analysis, guest host Joe Drew falls hard for Romo Frakkin’ Lampkin.
Mike prematurely trademarks Drunk Adama Decisions.
Pat doesn’t believe anything Lampkin says.
Matt can’t understand why Lee won’t talk to his frakkin’ wife.

Yup, Starbuck’s sole commendation came AFTER Caprica got nuked. The many, many reprimands likely came both before and after.
Mike’s right: The corners on this card should be cut. Love that Adamastache, though.
Flying from San Francisco to Perth takes nearly a day, and I challenge ANYONE to not take their shoes off at least once during that flight. Except Joe, who is apparently superhuman or a Cylon.
Jammer’s Reviews is a wonderful website, and you really should go laugh at the debate over what type of accent Mark Sheppard is or isn’t putting on.
I decided not to look into whether Lampkin actually worked with Joe Adama or not, because I prefer to let Pat’s take on their “relationship” remain a possibility.
Little known fact: It is difficult to direct cats.
I’m purposefully not linking to information on Aaron “I’m the Bomber” Kelly, because that guy’s got more episodes coming.

This time on BSG, the Chief and Cally’s relationship is tested, as Admiral Adama reflects on his own failed marriage.
In our analysis, Pat attempts to convince us Cally has merit.

How far can you tolerate other cultures’ beliefs? What if those beliefs are “backward”? What if they’re dangerous? What if you’re actually the asshole?
This time on BSG, Good Guy Helo takes center stage as he goes to bat for a group of anti-vacc’ing Sagittarion refugees.
In our analysis, Matt goes hard for his boy, Sherlock Helomes.
Pat takes issue with the episode’s monster-of-the-week structure.
Mike finds it completely plausible that the fleet would hate Sagittarions.
