After almost two days stranded in Siberia, passengers on an Air India flight diverted to Russia have finally reached their destination. Despite protest from some neighbors, the San Jose City Council has given the stamp of approval to a sprawling RV site to try to improve the homelessness situation there. Charges have been dismissed against two men accused of a gruesome crime in Contra Costa County. Long Covid is an often debilitating illness that can have more than 200 symptoms and can have an impact on multiple organ systems in a patient. 

Governor Gavin Newsom has presented a new proposition today, suggesting the addition of a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution. This proposed amendment aims to solidify essential and widely supported gun safety measures as a permanent part of the law. For a closer look, our anchors spoke with KCBS Political Analyst Marc Sandalow. California Attorney General Rob Bonta has joined a lawsuit against one company allegedly tied to billions of robocalls. The city of Palo Alto was just awarded six million dollars from the Federal Railroad Administration towards making its train crossings safer.
