Today, more than 2,000 individuals set off from Cow Palace on a 7-day, 545-mile bike expedition to Los Angeles. The event, called AIDS/LifeCycle, has the dual purpose of increasing awareness about the ongoing HIV epidemic and generating funds to support essential services such as HIV testing, medical care, prevention programs, and harm reduction initiatives.
