Baylor Guard Taliah Scott joined Big 12 Today and earned Big 12 Player of the Week honors.

Scott hit the game-winning shot over Iowa State, securing Baylor’s first top-10 road victory since December 30, 2023. She scored all 21 of her points in the second half, delivering a clutch performance. Earlier in the week, Taliah helped the Bears erase a 19-point third-quarter deficit to defeat Oklahoma State 77-68, scoring 24 points in her first game back from injury.

She also praised head coach Nicki Collen, calling her the best coach she has ever played for and highlighting the impactful role she has played in Taliah’s development both on and off the court.

Off the court, Taliah is a communications major with aspirations of entering sports broadcasting after her basketball career.
