You will never be 100% ready to go. NEVER. You can read, research and plan all you want but you’ll ultimately need to get started. It’s that simple. I’ll make this simple: It’s like parenting. It didn’t matter how many parenting books I read or how many videos I watched of babies being born, etc. It wasn’t until I had my own child for the first time that I realized I was in over my head.

However I worked my way to a point where I hit a groove in parenting and things became easier.

Find your groove by doing as opposed to sitting on the sidelines doing research and planning.

I remember as a kid that my dad would have me spell the words responsibility every time I wanted to blame someone for my actions. I’ll never forget having to spell that word but it left an impression on me. One that I’ll never forget. It showed me that I needed to be more aware of the actions that I was willing to take as opposed to just blaming someone for my screw ups.
