Grateful J’s started with the purpose of giving people a place to shop where they feel comfortable. J’s attitude is “It’s not what you smoke, It’s how you smoke it.” Besides being the owner of the multiple Grateful J’s stores, he’s a glass artist who creates objects for smoking, a pipe maker, free to express himself by putting a straight piece of glass in a fire and changing its form.

JAWW intersects her two lives, radio and travel! You can find her all over the Caribbean storytelling about Sandals Resorts (Ya Mon). Here’s Help is her passion project, a full scale residential treatment campus in Miami, treating substance abuse in the young adult male population through life skills learning and behavioral resets. Their fundraiser Bubbles and Bones will be in the Fall of 2022 for their 20th year!

This episode we are joined by the very stylish Debra Hook! Debra is the owner and founder of Boca Lavish. With a design background unlike most, Debra has cultivated her sense of style and implantation in ways that is totally unique to her clients. As a former model and actress, she turned her love of design into something she could bring to production. As a stage and set designer, Debra has staged countless nationally known commercials, tv shows, music videos and infomercials. Behind the cameras or in front, her joy and involvement in residential Interior Design has been her passion. With an education in period furniture and furniture construction, upholstery and drapery, her love for all things related to design has been ongoing since childhood.

“I love making people happy. And I have a lot of empathy and understanding towards people, who they are, where they have been and the journey that brought them here. I believe that this helps set me apart as a designer in this field. I design luxury interiors based on the clients needs, health condition, pets, relationships and lifestyles. Not one of my clients are the same, so no interior should be the same either.”

Ryan Paton is the Owner and President of local residential mortgage company, Capitol Lending Group. In 2012 he co-founded honor flight south Florida and serves as the director of Operations.

Over the past 4 years, he's taken WWII Veterans to 5 Countries, while filming a documentary about America's last remaining WWII Veterans called Cocktails With Heroes, and recently started the podcast version as well.

In between his company, his work with Veterans, and time with his family, Paton has donated over 20 gallons of blood throughout South Florida.

Castronovo Vineyards grew out of his love of people, wine, and all things Italian and has become a brand with wines that are featured in some of the nation’s finest restaurants and retail locations. He serves on the board of directors for the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation and the Miami Dolphins Ride DCC. He also co-chairs the Miami Dolphins Foundation’s Fins Weekend and has raised the equivalent of 20 million pounds of food for Feeding South Florida during his radio show’s annual holiday food drive.
