What does it cost? "Just" the coming. The cost is IN the coming, because of pride. It might be a price too dear. He has made you free so that you'd be free to come.

I currently live so close to some people that sometimes I get their mail.  In our permanent heaven-home, I will live so close to God that maybe I'll get His mail.

The PLACE that God has been preparing for US is the SAME place that God has been preparing for HIMSELF.  We are going to have the SAME ADDRESS as God. He'll be found with us.  We'll be found with Him.  The permanent heaven-home of God is the same heaven-home of believers. Join me there. Join me tomorrow at bewithme.us

It is not that OUR WORTH, that merits His SPENDING eternity with us. 
It is His SPENDING forever with us, that MAKES US infinitely valuable. 

It is His attention, His care, and His eye that makes us precious; 

We are those who HE HAS SHELTERED with HIS PRESENCE.
We are those He walked near when the cool breeze blew in the Garden .
We are those He chose to establish His covenant with through all generations.
We are those He has taken us as His people.

This is WHO WE ARE.

We all grieve over people who have "died".  It sure seems like they are gone forever. Knowing what they know now, if they could come back for 10 minutes, what would they say to us? Certainly it would be consistent with scripture.  I think they'd say:

• We are NOT TEMPORARY.  We all are going to be raised to live forever.  It is just a matter of where.
• Death is temporary.  Just like it is now allowed, it will soon be ABOLISHED
• We are going to inherit something. It will either be with God or without Him.
• God SPECIALIZES in your death problem
• You CAN SEE your loved one again IF...
• You BELIEVE

A day is coming for some people who will Never die  after dying twice. They are those who refuse to believe all the way to their first "death".  They didn't die with their first death.  Nobody does.  Everybody lives forever. Similarly,  They don't die with their second death.  Unfortunately, for unbelievers,  it is a living death forever in the lake of fire .

What happens to Unbelievers when they die?  I wonder if the Bible tells us? The answer is yes. The Lord has given us everything we need to know about it. 

Unbelievers have been in Hades, or Sheol, awaiting a day that they'd be resurrected to their bodies.  After the 1000 year reign of Christ this happens.  But what are they resurrected for and to WHOM are they resurrected to?  Soberly, they stand before judgment at the Great White Throne and He who sits on the throne.

First of all, the real you never dies.  You are immortal. You are going to live forever, it just is a matter of WHERE and with WHO? Second, as for your body, you are going to get it back in some sort of an immortal way.

Every one who "dies" has four broad steps:

1. Your soul goes somewhere as it is separated from your body
2. At some point you are resurrected to the reuniting of your soul and body
3. You are resurrected to face JUDGMENT, either alone or with Help from Jesus
4. You are permanently placed either with God on the new heaven, new earth OR you are permanently placed in hell AWAY from the presence of God.

Everyone you know lives, dies and is resurrected.  The believers, the just are resurrected in the FIRST resurrection. They are resurrected to judgment.  They will have some help with this phase.  Thank God for His work on the cross and His mercy.

The unjust also will be resurrected.  They are resurrected to judgement. This is the ugly part.  They then face the second death. ouch.

Satan has a temporary reprieve from his final destination.  It's the bottomless pit. He's there for a 1000 years. When he is released he's immediately up to his old tricks of war against Jesus' followers and deception of the nations.

I cannot believe I'm saying this, but people are STILL given volition to follow or not follow God for that 1000 year period.  Of note, many do NOT follow Jesus despite Satan being out of the picture for that millennia.  Let's hear these words soberly. bewithme.us and Spotify and google podcasts
