Be With Me: 7 Minutes of Biblical Wonder

Up to this point in Revelation, all the facets of EVIL are UNIFIED in their opposition to God.  Today, evil begins to turn against evil. A house divided cannot stand.  This is the beginning of the end for evil.

God exercises His sovereignty in the decision making souls of the beast. He turns one evil force against another. God is exercising His genius and His power today.

Today, I awoke to a THUNDERSTORM.  The question is: Why do we live in a world that aches and groans? It reminds us that even this wonderful planet is NOT QUITE RIGHT. It is because the EARTH was CURSED, from no fault of its own, when MAN was cursed.  

But don't worry, God is making both MAN right...by the atonement of Jesus, and the WORLD right by re-creation. He is going to FIX US, and FIX THE EARTH.

Finally, a Bowl of Wrath where nobody dies.  Unfortunately, those against God are setting themselves up for the final battle. This will not end well.

Armageddon is an ancient battle field and the future FINAL battlefield.  The unified armies of the earth gather there to "fight against God" (if there is such a thing). Armageddon means "place of slaughter". Hint: it is not of God or the people of God.

If we curse and "drop evil words on God", someone is the worse for it.  Now understand, God is going to be perfectly fine.  He is still 100% glorious.  Our throwing profanity at God doesn't hurt Him a bit, but it hurts us.

Unrepentant people on earth continue to have the opportunity to yield to God all the way through His wrath.  That is, as God reveals Himself in a new way, and the people CLEARLY see it, they STILL REFUSE HIM. 

God's wrath is perfectly just and perfectly applied.  As it is happening, heaven and earth pause ½ way through to have a little worship party. Even the targets of wrath recognize that is coming from the Almighty.  They can stop, turn around spiritually and say "I'm sorry" to God.  Do they? Not so much. God is SMOKIN' in heaven. It is a visible manifestation of His POWER and His GLORY. He's smokin' when we catch a glimpse of heaven in Revelation 15, and since His power and His glory haven't changed, I'm betting He is smokin' right now.

When people "go to glory" (die), it is not to their own glory that they go.  It is to GOD's Glorious, smoky place.  It is our job to GIVE HIM our recognition of His glory.  Glorify Him now then go to His smokin' place and glorify Him forever.

Here is a new name for Jesus: THE GOOD GRAPE.  The reality is that there is a judgment coming that must be satisfied by blood. Without it, there is no forgiveness of sin.  

Christian believers say: "Hey, I'm with Jesus. I am receiving the benefits of HIS BLOOD by my belief in Him". It is a good deal, because otherwise, I'M THE GRAPE that has to go through the winepress of God's wrath. Our charge is: Receive Jesus. He's the GOOD GRAPE that can substitute for you for the unpleasant payment for sin. Somebody has to go through the payment for sin, it might as well be the GOOD GRAPE.

There is a future winepress of God's righteous wrath.  Unrepentant, rebellious people are the GRAPES OF WRATH who will get exactly what they chose. A judgment is coming. Everybody wants "justice". Nobody wants justice of their own actions.

God offers His Son to substitute Himself  for you in this bloody winepress.  He offers "The GOOD GRAPE"(Jesus) for the Grapes of Wrath. You can chose to follow Him by faith and have this wrath satisfied. You already ARE the BAD GRAPE.  Without Christ, you remain a GRAPE OF WRATH.
