Be With Me: 7 Minutes of Biblical Wonder

The breadcrumbs of our behavior reveal much about our beliefs. In fact, the test of our actions is the real demonstration of what is inside the soul.

Here is the kicker for today:  Our DEEDS FOLLOW US into heaven.  What we do HERE follows us to THERE. If you knew that your deeds today last forever, what would you want them to say?

Start your forever-remembered-actions by listening, and really considering, for 7 minutes, THAT OUR DEEDS FOLLOW US FOREVER. bewithme.us

I laughed when I read that Babylon is Fallen before she was even introduced as an character  in the book of Revelation. John sees the END of Babylon before he even sees her BEGINNING.

I cried when I read about the havoc that she causes before she is thrown down. She is a powerful enemy of God. She requires a powerful God with a powerful can of wrath to pour out upon her.  She wreaks havoc on the people of God with glee. But don't worry, Jesus will SIT DOWN after she is THROWN DOWN.

Jewish believers in this passage are found enjoying a heavenly kingdom either in heaven, or in a heavenly kingdom that is come to earth.  They have been faithful to death through a very difficult period on earth.  It's so bad it has a special name: the GREAT TRIBULATION.  These folks conquered; they MADE IT.

As we glimpse ahead to THAT day, what do we find them doing?  They are FOLLOWING THE LAMB.  I am charmed by this concept for my today's moments.  Join me in following the Lamb, no matter what is ahead for THIS day.

The stakes are high regarding WHO do you worship. Everybody worships something.  Our hearts were built for it.  But getting it WRONG is costly: it may cost you eternity with the one you were made eternal for.

At least one of the antidotes for mis-worshipping is to not be deceived by the one who has "deceiver" as his middle name.  The second is to go to the genuine article: the true Lord.  Revelation says this a couple of times, "Behold!, See this!, Notice this!, or my favorite, TADA!" Today, "Behold the Lamb!" That is code for Jesus. Let's get this right.  Eternity with the one we were made eternal for is at stake.

Today you'll meet a very impressive beast that has authority, smooth words, deceiving purpose and an unholy goal. He rules, he speaks, he convinces, he wrecks things, he deceives and then he will be gone forever.  As impressive as the reading of him is today, he's a relative flash in the pan.

Those who will live with us forever are only briefly mentioned.  There are those, even in this bad hour,  will NOT WORSHIP the beast.  Here in Rev13, people still have agency. as to who to worship, and who to NOT WORSHIP.  Notice those who do this well. bewithme.us like and subscribe apple podcast Spotify

Near the end of the tribulation, a Satan-sent beast arises.  He might be the political leader of a final world empire that is opposed to Christ's reign.  People marvel and follow and worship him. (Opps. Classic mistake: worshipping the created rather than the Creator.)

Believers are conquered by him in the sense that they are killed by him. Believers conquer HIM by "the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives, even unto death." Rev 12:11 Believers are secure, even if they lose it all to conquer the beast who should not be worshipped.

June 5th,1944 Eisenhower walked amidst the 101st Airborne knowing that a battle was coming.  He knew some would die, but ultimate victory was coming.  In fact his words were, "Full victory. Nothing else." The paratroopers knew they were not doing this ALONE.

It is an honor to be the enemy of Satan.  It means you are on the right team.

Listen 7 minutes to a great battle to come for the people of God. bewithme.us
