Spontaneous speaking strategies often help when we're speaking off the cuff. What if we used these same strategies for when we're pitching our business. We could use these when we network, introduce ourselves in virtual rooms, meet someone new at a party or even thinking about our business' core elements. I talk with my friend Steph and I think she did pretty well applying these strategies to her fictitious baking business. I hope you learn so much.
I'd love to coach you during your entrepreneurship journey, visit me at beabosscoaching.com.

Meet Maia Alejandro, founder of FOR TMRW. After experiencing health concerns and a difficult time navigating the clean beauty and wellness space as a woman of color, Maia decided to launch FOR TMRW to encourage her Afro-Latinx community to indulge in self care rituals that are both safe and luxurious.
"I created FOR TMRW to celebrate my family, elevate the perception of my Caribbean roots in the beauty marketplace, and bring sustainable, mood-boosting beauty to the broader BIPOC community." - Maia Alejandro
Through founder Maia Alejandro’s passion for interior design and career background as a mental health clinician, the collections are grounded in color psychology, mindfulness and influences from design, art, photography and modern culture.
In Maia's story you'll learn how she navigated the world of beauty brands and products, the challenges that she came across, all while growing her family and not rushing her process. Beabosscoaching is now in season 2!
Welcome to the Beabosscoaching podcast, a leading podcast where we redefine entrepreneurship through the entrepreneurship journeys of women of color, BIPOC and queer entrepreneurs. I'm Beatriz Rivera, and as a social worker turned entrepreneur coach and podcast host, I share my own journey and story. I decided to start my own coaching business during the pandemic, when I was helping my dad, a veteran business owner to keep his 23 year old business open. Since then I've thrown myself into courses, coaching, podcasts, and books.
However I've learned that entrepreneurship is a journey and we can all learn from each other's stories, mistakes and successes to redefine the boundaries of what entrepreneurship can be.
