In honor of Hispanic heritage month, I'm honored to have had this conversation with fellow Salvadoreña Katya Quezada. She is a morning news show producer and host of her own Podcast called Cipota Colocha Says Podcast.

When I was younger, my 4th grade teacher told my mom that I was "finally coming out of my shell." My mom was proud and I was proud too. Even as a young 4th grader, I was already trying to go against my natural quieter personality. Now as a 34-year-old woman, I am learning how to open my arms up to my quieter traits and see them as strengths.

Do you hate the idea of taking risks but want to start your own business? In this episode I share with you the biggest risk I took: Moving to New York City.
