The  showed why it is King last weekend with some incredible games by young star QBs in divisional showdowns. Mahomes, Carr, Lamar and Burrow did not disappoint. Dallas continues to perform for Mike McCarthy and Cooper Rush.  Meanwhile, Jalen Hurts and the Eagles continue to play elite team ball. And the Detroit Lions continue to show why they are.. The Bucs played a clean game and built a 3 score lead before the Falcons made it interesting Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.  Leonard Fournette and Tom Brady led the offense while rookies Cade Otten, Logan Hall and Rachaad White continued to step up and contribute.  The win puts Tampa at 3-2 as they travel Sunday to face a slumping  Steelers team in Pittsburgh.

Week 5 is here and the Bucs host the Atlanta Falcons for 1st place in the NFC South. Both teams have major injuries with Atlanta down 6 starters and Tampa minus 3. Tom Brady and his receivers started to get some rapport and reps as players returned from injury. The defense had a rare rough night and looks to rebound vs a run heavy Atlanta attack. #LFG

The Major League Baseball post season is here..and.... Beav's Mets are one of the better teams in the tournament. Led by Pete Alonso, Francisco Lindor, Starling Marte and ML Batting champ Jeff McNeil, this is a very dangerous field team. Max Scherzer, Jacob deGrom, Chris Bassitt, Adam Ottavino and Edwin Diaz lead a pitching staff that is among the tops in the game. NY starts a best of 3 series vs the San Diego Padres tonight at CitiField. #LGM

Cooper Rush and Jimmy Garoppolo stole headlines in week 4 while the usual suspects of Josh Allen,  Joe Burrow and Aaron Rodgers led their teams to important wins. The etroit Lions have no "D" and The New York Jets scored a GW TD as time expired to hand the Pittsburgh Steelers a brutal loss.  Meanwhile. Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles continue to maul people and look like a serious Super Bowl contender. Week 5 has a tough act to follow. #LFG

The Bucs stumbled out of the gates early and a valiant comeback by Tom Brady, Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and friends came up short as the visiting Chiefs rode the spectacular talents of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce to a 41-31 win. Tampa made several key mistakes and their top rated defense struggled in space and vs the run, as KC moved the ball at will all night. The Bucs seemed to figure things out offensively with the influx of returnees in the passing game plus the OL settling in. Credit The Chiefs and Andy Reid with a great game plan and performance. All is not lost. Tampa is 2-2 and tied for 1st place with Atlanta, who visits Raymond James this week.

The Greater Tampa area was spared much of the punishment from Hurricane Ian so the Bucs can put some smiles on their fans and the citizens of Florida on Sunday Night Football. The Chiefs ,led by Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes, provide a formidable opponent and will try to send the crowd home with a frown. These two teams provided two of the better games of the 2020 season including the Bucs pounding Kansas City into the submission and preventing them from repeating in the Super Bowl. Both teams have very good defenses while their offenses especially the wide receiver units are dealing with injury and new faces. This figures to be a final possession game and should keep folks glued to their seats. #LFG

We are 3 weeks into the NFL season and we see craziness every weekend. Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Tom Brady and Justin Herbert all lost this week. We had an actual 11-10 final. (Sorry, Kathy!) And we continue to see QBs taken down by injury. Meanwhile, surprise teams in Jacksonville and Philadelphia are off to promising starts.  And Cooper Rush THE COOPER RUSH is 2-0 as a starter and playing good football. The NFL. Stands for... The Green Bay Packers withstood a ferocious late rally by Tom Brady and the Bucs to hold on to a big 14-12 Sunday at Raymond James Stadium. The difference in the game was a failed two point conversion and some costly mistakes by the Bucs including two drive killing fumbles. The defense continues to play lights out and the OL is continuing to gel and perform. Several pass catchers stepped in to larger roles led by Russell Gage and newbies like Cole Beasley and Kyle Rudolph made their 1st contributions. Tampa lost the battle but hopes to win the war. The next battle is on Sunday Night Football vs a powerhouse Kansas City team. The same team the Bucs destroyed in 2020 Super Bowl at... Raymond James Stadium. #LFG

The 2-0 Buccaneers host rival Green Bay this Sunday in America's Game of the Week. Green Bay is now a defensive oriented run team that has surrounded Aaron Rodgers with reboots and question marks at WR. Meanwhile, Tampa has a battered and bruised passing game which is further weakened due to Mike Evans' insane suspension by the league. The Bucs Defense has to show up big while Tom Brady and the offense figure out who is where and what to do.  #LFG
