The NFL made all of its required roster cuts and practice squad moves Tuesday and teams are at 53 players now. More surprising and unexpected  news...The Raiders shipped out their 1st round draft pick from ...2021 !!!! Meanwhile, Russell Wilson and his new team(The Denver Broncos) signed a contract extension that will keep the team competitive and cap controlled thru at least 2025. Keep an eye out for more last minute cap cutting measures thru the weekend as every team is looking to maximize $$$s as we approach the season opener. #LFG

The NFL has completed 2 3rds of their preseason schedule. Injuries have been minimal with many team sitting stars or engaging in joint practices with their opponents. Meanwhile, The Carolina Panthers picked a starting QB and the Kansas City Chiefs lost a living legend today. #LFG

Football season is near...camps are open, moves/news is happening and... Beav is doing a podcast on his Mets. The New York Mets are 71-39. They took down the hated Braves 4 out of 5 over a weekend series. Edwin Diaz just k-ed a guy, deGrom is throwing 102 on the 1st pitch of the game and Pete Alonso just hit a ball to Rancho Cukamunga. This team is fun and legitimately good. We try to explain why Vogey is the new Mayor of Queens. #LGM

Huge news over the weekend as NBA legend and human rights activist Bill Russell passed away at age 88. The greatest champion in the history of American team sports, Mr. Russell was the leader of the late 50s into the 60s Boston Celtics. #6 was the leader of the squads that won 11 Championships including 8 straight. He was the top defender/ rebounder in the sport while jump starting the famous Celtics fast break. Mr. Russell was much more than a basketball player, he fought racism and for civil rights from coast to coast. He was a Giant on and off the court. #RIP
