Awful news in Michigan in the last 24 hrs. Former Football coach Gary Moeller passed away after battling an illness. He was 81. Mo worked 21 yrs for The Wolverines and was equally adept on both sides of the ball.  Beav tries to do his old boss justice and explain why he was both so popular and important to the history of Michigan Football. RIP Mo... We all love you. #RIP

Beav goes home to Andover and......................(strange things happen).  Yes. Los Angeles has moved to the Mid West (East for them!). In a stunning turn of events, The two So Cal programs have defected to the Big Ten and will start conference play in 2024. This move (almost a yr after Oklahoma and Texas bolted the Big 12 for the SEC) sent shock waves all around the sports world. We try to break it down and explain with our own "crystal ball".  Hint: Follow the money. And not much else. #LFG

Our friend Erik Bakich has taken his amazing talents to Clemson. Beav explains why this was a good move for EB and The Tigers. Michigan? Still Michigan but that was not the problem. The problem was ... our coach became too good for Ann Arbor and Big Ten Baseball. U will understand after listening and Eddie Murphy (!!!!) is a big part of the reason why.  #LFG

Michigan's amazing post season run ended Monday as the Louisville Cardinals and the umpires became too much to overcome. The Wolverines battled hard all weekend and where in position to advance but a terrible strike zone and instant replay review did them in. Team 156 made us all proud and many thanks to the seniors and all potential MLB picks in the July draft. This is a fun group and all of them made going to the park enjoyable. Special thanks to EB, his amazing staff and the entire squad. Love this team and program. We will be back. #LFG

#Team156 did it... they won the Big Ten tourney as the 5 seed, securing an automatic bid to the College World Series.  An incredible job by an incredible group of young men, coaches and staff. Michigan starts the double elimination  Louisville Regional tonight at 7 pm vs a strong Oregon Ducks team on ESPNU. #LFG

We did it! Michigan Baseball won 4 games in 4 days ,capturing the Big Tourney this weekend in Omaha! Team #156 beat the top 4 teams in the conference and the entire roster contributed.  Our Head Coach Eric Bakich returns to tell us about his team and the upcoming regional at Louisville. #LFG

The Wolverines are post season bound after winning 3 straight home games last week at Ray Fisher Stadium. The bats came alive and back to back home runs by Clark Elliot and Joe Stewart set the tone in the opener of the Rutgers series. Today the Big Ten kicks off their annual Conference Tourney in Omaha, Nebraska. Harsh weather delayed all games Wednesday but a better forecast awaits the 8 qualifying teams at the newly renamed Charles Schwab Field Omaha (Formerly TD Ameritrade Omaha).  Obviously Michigan has some tremendous history and memories from this park and with our recent success in league, karma and morale is good heading into today. #LFG
