The Chiefs beat the Chargers went it mattered, The Patriots looked like the Patriots, The Lions beat the piss out of a team and... THE JETS scored two TDs late to win. It is Football season and We are doing a Baseball podcast... so this probably means Beav's beloved NY Mets did something good.  And you could not be more correct! The Mets have clinched a postseason berth and maintain a slim lead over the defending World Series  Atlanta Braves in the NL East. We breakdown why this is potentially the best Mets squad since... 1986. #LGM

The Tampa Bay Bucs rode their defense and made Jameis Winston make enough mistakes as the Bucs pulled away late to win 20-10. Jamel  Dean picked off two passes while Mike "Pick 6" Edwards ran one back for the clinching TD. Offensively neither team did much but Leonard Fournette, Mike Evans and Breshad Perriman stood out. Evans was ejected in the 2nd half after he defended Tom Brady from his archrival Marshon Lattimore.  #13 has just been suspended an additional game by the NFL.

The Bucs and Saints is one of the top rivalries in the NFL and round 1 is This Sunday in New Orleans at 1 pm.  Dennis Allen's squad  has been Kryptonite to Tampa, winning 4 out of 5 including last years 9-0 late season win in Florida when then injured several Bucs stars.  Both teams have several key players out and Tampa will have to use the formula they rode to defeat the Cowboys last week to hold 1st place: smart, efficient offense with a power run game and a ferocious, attacking defense. #LFG

The Sky is falling, Our team is great, Our Coach is an idiot...yes... maybe..likely or... no.  Week 1 is over and 30 teams won or lost. Hell, two tied!!! Over reaction week is here... rest, reflect and recharge. The season is young and everyone (and every team!) is day to day let alone week to week. The Rams won the Super Bowl last yr. The Bucs opened the season with a strong overall team performance ,winning a key road game in Dallas 19-3.  Leonard Fournette had a huge evening running the ball while Tom Brady, Mike Evans and Julio Jones played like the Hall of Famers they are. Defensively, Todd Bowles is now our Head Coach but his old unit and coaches dominated an over matched and injured Cowboys offense.  The win was costly however for Tampa as both Donovan Smith (elbow) and Chris Godwin (leg) went down with injuries and did not return. The Bucs road trip continues next week as we travel to New Orleans to face the hated Saints in a crucial divisional matchup. #LFG

We have... GAMES!!! Yes... The week 1 is here and so is Real Live Football!!! The Bucs travel to Dallas to face one of the top brands in NFL history in the Cowboys. Dak Prescott, Cee Dee Lamb and Micah Parsons are the big names to focus on as Tampa tries to start 1-0. #LFG

Lots of changes and additions to the Bucs as we enter kickoff weekend. Obviously, the biggest being the retirement of Head Coach Bruce Arians and elevation of defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to the big chair. Ali Marpet retired, Jordan Whitehead, Ndamukong Suh and Alex Cappa left. Meanwhile , the team added Julio Jones, Russell Gage, Logan Ryan, Shaq Mason, Carl Nassib and a solid draft class. And oh... Tom Brady is back. #LFG

Today we conclude our conference previews for the 2022 NFL season with... The NFC. The conference still has some very good players led by names like Aaron Donald, Tom Brady, Trent Williams and Aaron Rodgers but the AFC has a huge depth of talent under center. The NFC has some very good defenses and running backs as well. This should be an interesting season. #LFG
