The final 2 weeks of the Big Ten regular season is here and Michigan has drawn the top 2 teams in the league in Maryland (road) and Rutgers (home).  A couple of rough weekends have likely prevented the Wolverines from winning the conference but an influx of energy and arms showcased this week could make this a dangerous team in the coming postseason.

The Home stretch of the Big Ten season is here and Michigan plays title contenders from here on out.  Hosting the Indiana Hoosiers this weekend , The Wolverines are a hot streak away from a Big Ten Title. It starts today at Ray Fisher Stadium. #LFG

EJ Perry has a home. In sunny Florida. On a young, developing team. With a Super Bowl winning offensive coach. Today The former Brown and Andover High star QB is a Jacksonville Jaguar. Draft weekend is over and many future stars have found new homes. Everyone is happy.... yes, even Lions and Jets fans. Beavsworld does not give out grades 2 days after the selections. Call us in 5 yrs. LOL. Here is our recap of the NFL's premiere off season event.

Day 1 of the NFL draft is complete. We saw a huge run on edge rushers and wide receivers while the big time Offensive linemen all went early as well. A weak high end QB class saw only 1 selected... and he has small hands. Tonight we will see a run on Linebackers and running backs in the 2nd and 3rd rounds as well as defensive backs. #LFG

The best weekend of the off season is here....The NFL draft kicks off tonight! This selection show lacks big name signal callers but is loaded with pass rushers, general defensive help and several starting level wide outs.  Adding to the festivities is the host city: Las Vegas. Enjoy the weekend.... the only 1 where every team is in 1st place. And best wishes to all the players and families of the prospects. #LFG

The Wolverines were one out away from an important sweep in front of a packed house Sunday but the final out proved to be elusive and the rival Buckeyes stole the game. The Late loss does not take away from a great weekend that saw heroics from C Jimmy Obertop (Game tying 2 out 9th inning homer Friday), CF Joe Stewart (3 Home runs including Back to back Grand Slams with 11 rbi Saturday) and RF Clark Elliott ( Game winning hit in extras Friday). The team continues to catch the ball with Matt Frey leading the way at 3B. Meanwhile, Starting pitchers Cam Weston, Chase Allen and Connor O'Halloran are leading the way while Jacob Denner and Noah Rennard are closing out games. Michigan continues to win series and remains alive to capture the Big 10 Championship.

The Michigan Baseball team had a tremendous weekend, sweeping the rival Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing over 3 games.  The Wolverines hit for power (Clark Elliot 3 HRs in Game 1 alone), played great defensively and pitched all series. MSU's program also hit an all time low as they hit ex Spartan Joe Stewart in the  head in his 1st at bat Friday night. That will be  addressed in this podcast. #AdultLanguage

The Draft is near... and teams remain active.  The Browns/Baker Mayfield divorce continues to steal headlines while Kyler Murray and the Cardinals might be joining them in couples therapy. Michigan Baseball had a historic weekend and took 3 out of 4 games over the last 7 days. The 4 time national champion Cal State Fullerton Titans traveled to Ray Fisher for a 3 game series. Michigan took all 3 and the good news is all the wins happened in different ways. Game 1 was a 2-1 defensive battle won by a late home run by 3B Matt Frey.  The Wolverines then rolled Saturday  in game 2 8-2 to set up a big Sunday finale. Michigan rallied from a early 6-3 deficit to walk off the Titans in the 9th.  #LFG
