The NCAA Hockey Tournament is here and the Wolverines are headed to Fargo, North Dakota. #2 seed Michigan faces two time defending National Champion Minnesota-Duluth  Friday. The winner of this game will likely face the #1 overall seed North Dakota Saturday Night.  UM will have to play a structured, defensive game vs a disciplined and balanced Bulldog team to advance to the regional final.

The Home opener is here! Michigan Baseball returns to Beautiful Ray Fisher stadium this weekend. 2020/21 has been strange for a lot of reasons and sports (Particularly NCAA sports))  is no different. The Wolverines will play 4 games in 4 days vs two different teams: Illinois (Friday and Saturday) and Michigan State( Sunday and Monday). The team is filled with some old and new and is playing great ball as we head into the end of the opening quarter of the season.  #LFG

Michigan traveled to Texas last weekend and took 3 of 4 vs a tough Iowa Hawkeyes team. A blend of speed,power and pitching has the Wolverines looking good as they travel to the Carolinas to play Purdue this weekend.  Coach Bakich and his squad hope to continue their winning ways today and the rest of the series. #LFG

Michigan Baseball is back! Almost a year to the date of the season shutdown, UM travels to Texas to face a tough Iowa Hawkeye club. The 2021 Wolverines feature 42 players (21 PITCHERS!!!), 13 seniors , 10 freshman and 5 transfer students. Coach Erik Bakich & his super talented staff will have to get the new players integrated into the system and playing well early in this conference only season. #LFG

Michigan (And the Big Ten) are in the final stages of the regular season. The Wolverines are battling for the 3rd seed in the conference tournament and travel to Minnesota to face the 1st place Golden Gophers this weekend. The team will be minus F Johnny Beecher for the rest of the campaign due to shoulder surgery.

The Patriots had a tough 2020 season at 7-9 and finished 3rd in the AFC East. Now the good news: They have over $60 Million in cap space and most of the league is in cap jail. New England has 5 key free agents but 3 veteran starters returning from the Covid opt outs. Bill Belichick and his reshuffled staff will be busy over the next 3 weeks.

After a .500 weekend, Michigan Hockey closes out the home portion of the season Friday and Saturday at Yost.  The Wolverines host the team they opened the season with , The Arizona State Sun Devils. UM is now #7 in the nation and a strong 3rd in the Big Ten standings. The team will honor the 4 seniors Saturday Night post game.  #GoBlue

The NY Mets have been busy this off season. They changed owners & made a major trade for a superstar and top 3 starting pitcher.  NY flirted with the big name free agents ,signing  a former all star Catcher and several other good major league players in the field and on the mound.  This is both a very interesting and deep team as we start training camp. #LGM
