*Originally February 18, 2025*Mix of topics as usual as the guys have the silly card of the week segment off the top, followed by feedback follow-up on a recent conversation Carlos had on the channel (11:44). This leads to a discussion on the vintage vs modern recent debate, collecting what you want, finding that lane, and embracing it, with a stopover on the current state of gambling and what people can do to get started in the hobby (23:38).Then at the end, Carlos throws in a rundown and overview of the Hobby Hustle Documentary he watched this past weekend (1:29:47).Conversation with WadeBoggsFan from this weekend:https://youtu.be/Sc3xjZuD8Xg?si=GPvXdoYtCUSem0JkSports Collectors Daily article on the Documentary:https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.com/sports-card-documentary-hobby-hustle-explores-the-good-and-bad/Hobby Hustle Trailer Video:https://youtu.be/GsclcFrDsA8?si=_mYWF7OQNMNtIIvKInterview with the Director of the Hobby Hustle Documentary referenced:https://youtu.be/SbeNUh6UjJA?si=9-Mwjbd75ypVWjIlThanks to @AMGCollectibles for supporting the podcast and channel. This week includes another mix of topics as the guys make their Super Bowl picks, give uninformed thoughts on the Luka Doncic trade (6:57), and give their silly card of the week (34:33).

Then a more serious discussion on an update from WhatNot to the Backyard Breaks controversy from this past week. (41:36)

From there the guys discuss the YouTube Sports Card Hall of Fame as the results were published. The guys have thoughts and Eric has saltiness....as always. (1:07:53)

A mix of topics this week as the guys have a "relaxed" discussion on the Conference Champions in the NFL. They then discuss a new hobby documentary that will drop in February (1:04:48) and the silly card of the week leads (24:22) into a rundown on an upcoming UD Engrained Icons set (36:53). The guys speculate on what audience this set is meant to appeal to, as the configuration confuses them.

Lastly, Brandon makes a comment that leads into a discussion on how a lot of hobby discourse has moved into seeking the path of least resistance to getting answers, where forums and social media are users asking for answers to all questions without making any additional effort to locate, employing the hobby's "Easy Button" in the process. This week is quite the mix of items. The guys have the latest silly card of the week, discuss the YouTube Sports Card Hall of Fame (it turns out Eric makes a good case for being HOF adjacent) (11:06), then discuss some of the Weekend NFL playoff games, and Brandon has a requiem for his Ravens loss. (28:48)

The last section debates whether expectations will benefit or harm some QB card prices in the near future. (1:07:21)

The firing of Jerod Mayo ends the era of "Mayo Monday" for now. The guys discuss the silly card of the week (15:02), and PSA's expansion of its Canadian, Japanese, and European footprint (28:48).

Lastly, they review the recent "new" controversy on the old Player Worn vs Game Used debate as folks have started opening jersey/patch cards to determine if the label matches the name on the card. (50:33)

Back to a regular episode, the guys go over their silly cards of the week, Barry Bonds starts to sign for baseball cards again, and then Carlos has some good fortune in eBay land that leads to a discussion of whether the ecosystem of releases, boxes, and cards is broken, using UD as their first example.
