Because I'm Carlos

The first part of this week's episode discusses Juan Soto signing a record deal with the New York Mets. Thoughts on the signing and potential impact on the cards now that he has left the Yankees.

From there the discussion shifts to a continuation of a discussion Carlos had on b1gScott35's channel discussing why vintage football doesn't get as much love as vintage baseball. (1:01:41)

The discussion is also expanded to talk about some of the quirks that make vintage basketball and hockey challenging.

After 1000 videos on the YouTube channel, Carlos reflects on some lessons learned, some trends and changes he has observed, and how he will apply that to the future of the channel (55:31).

The start though begins with the usual fare in briefly discussing the Packers win over the Bears then the Toronto Argonauts winning the Grey Cup and Carlos' spotty history with the CFL. From there they touch on Brian Grey's interview with former CEO of Pinnacle Brands Jerry Meyer (15:52) and the latest arrest of Beckett's Owner (42:22)

A more streamlined episode has the guys going through comments from last week and the results of the silly card of the week. Then Eric begins a brand new week of silly cards with a story told through three images (see this week's community post to vote on your favorite).

After discovering the comedic gold of Tom Brady's own YouTube channel, they move on to a grading discussion, following the previously discussed SGC 10 Wilt Chamberlain rookie being crossed over to PSA. The topics range from pop control to market(or eye appeal) vs. technical grading.
