I told my son he could tell me anything. But when he did, my reactions taught him to think twice.
Being his mom didn’t automatically make me someone he felt safe talking to. In this episode, I share three ways I made it harder for my son to open up, the patterns I repeated from my own childhood, and what changed when I got honest about my part in our relationship.

In this episode, we're talking about how to own the ways you've hurt your child without making those mistakes your identity—and why being accountable doesn't require you to live in guilt until your teen sees you differently.
Because your teen can be hurt. You can have been wrong. And neither automatically means you're a bad mom.

=======================
Have you ever looked completely fine on the outside while everything on the inside felt off? In this episode I get honest about a season where I went quiet, felt overly emotional about everything, and had to admit my life was out of whack, even though I wasn't losing my temper with anyone.
In this episode, we discuss:

Welcome to Feminine AF. Each episode will cover a new topic within the world of Christian motherhood–intentionally developing ourselves into the stewards of our teenage children that God has called us to be. We focus on restoring our joy in motherhood, increasing closeness with our kids, and bringing more peace into our lives.
Today, we're gonna talk about how to start fixing the damage caused by being overly critical of your teenage or adult child by changing yourself instead of trying to change your child.

Becoming Regulated is a podcast for moms who know a lot about what they should do, how they should respond, and who they want to be but are discovering that knowing and becoming are two very…
Because regulation is about so much more than staying calm.
It’s about noticing yourself. Questioning what’s driving you. Owning what needs to be owned. Catching the old beliefs and patterns that keep showing up in your parenting, relationships, work, faith, and everyday life—and deciding who you want to be when they do.
I’m Tunisha, and these episodes are honest conversations about what I’m noticing, learning, unlearning, getting right, getting wrong, and seeing differently as I practice becoming the woman I say I want to be.
We’ll talk about identity, relationships, regulation, motherhood, disappointment, growth, and all the uncomfortable places where what you believe about yourself meets how you actually live.
There’s no finish line here.
Just the ongoing work of paying attention to who you’re becoming.
This is real life, everyday regulation.
