Welcome to episode 74 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead.

While your host Bede Jermyn has covered a lot of differents forms of media when it comes to Night Of The Living Dead over the past year or two, there's one area that hasn't covered for a while on the podcast, which just happens to be the theatrical stage production side. The last time Bede dived into this subject, was back on episode 12 when he looked at the 2020 experimental stage play Night Of The Living Dead: Remix. For this episode, Bede goes back to that well to look at the 2019 London stage production of another NOTLD play Night Of The Living Dead: Live!.

Joining Bede to discuss this play is someone who knows a thing or two about the theatre world, and that is Bede's co-host on the BVTLD network show Bede & Steve Vs. Camp Crystal Lake and co-owner of⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ ⁠⁠The Knack Theatre⁠⁠: Steven T. Boltz. Highlights include Bede & Steve wondering if taking a campy comedic approach was the right call, the bizarre choice of having some audience member sit on the stage, praising the show's production design, how this play is linked to Evil Dead: The Musical!, the utterly insane second act turn and so much more.

Welcome to this bonus episode of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. Unlike the main episodes of the show that only focus on all things related and linked to Night Of The Living Dead, these bonus ones will have your host Bede Jermyn explore other random zombie films (from both the famous to the obscure) that were made in the aftermath of George A. Romero's 1968 classic masterpiece.

Last year on the podcast in celebration of the return of the 28 Days Later franchise, your host Bede Jermyn went back to the beginning to take a look at the first two films 28 Days Later (2002) and 28 Weeks Later (2007) on one episode, which then was followed-up with another episode that was on the newest entry in the series 28 Years Later (2025). The latter was the start of a trilogy of films and was shot back-to-back with the fourth entry, which was recently released in the form of the 2026 film 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. This sequel was written once again by Alex Garland (Annihilation) and directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman '21) with Danny Boyle (127 Hours) acting as producer on this one.

Welcome to this special bonus episode of Bede Vs. The Living Dead.

Your host Bede Jermyn is back with a special interview bonus edition of the podcast. To say that this is an exciting one, would be a very big understatment. For this one, Bede sat down and chatted to Tina Romero, who should know a thing or two about zombies because her father was the legendary Night Of The Living Dead director himself George A. Romero.

However in her own right, Tina is also a fillmmaker and recent took a stab at the zombie sub-genre herself by making her feature length directorial debut with the ciritically acclaimed 2025 LBGTQ+ themed horror/comedy Queens Of The Dead.

This interview had been in the works for a little while now, so thanks Tina for taking the time to come on the show to talk about both how her film Queens Of The Dead came to be and her father's legacy on the horror genre.
