Romero's 1968 classic masterpiece.
Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone! In honour of the festive season, Bede thought it would be fun to start annual tradition that when this time of year comes, he dedicate an episode to a zombie film that's set around Christmas. You wouldn't think there would be that many, but you would be surprised that there is. For this very first Christmas themed bonus episode of the podcast, Bede takes a look at the most well known Christmas zombie film: the 2017 musical horror/comedy Anna And The Apocalypse.
Joining Bede to discuss this cult Yuletide themed cult film is returning guest Marcus Wilturner (writer/contributor for The Super Network) and first-time guest Scott Wiley (host of Action Addicts). Welcome to episode 71 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead.
After looking at all things when it comes to Night Of The Living Dead across different forms of media such as film, TV, comics etc. One area your host Bede Jermyn hasn't looked at in quite a while is the music side. Particularly songs that were inspired by the original 1968 classics. For this episode, Bede dives into the NOTLD themed tracks from music acts such as The Misfits, Fans Of The Dark, The Ruckus Habit, Black Death, The Alley Cats, No More Kings and Ben Living.
Joining Bede to discuss all these NOTLD songs is a returning guest who is also a musician: Pete Iacono (host of the Australian film podcast A Dingo Ate My Movie). Highlights include diving into punk band The Misits' classic song Night Of The Living Dead, enjoying the '80s rock nostaglia of Fans Of The Dark, the pioneers that are Black Death, do any of the songs make reference to NOTLD?, what were Bede & Pete's favourites of the bunch? and so much more.

Welcome to this bonus episode of Bede Vs. The Living Dead. Unlike the main episodes of the show that only focus on all things related and linked to Night Of The Living Dead, these bonus ones will have your host Bede Jermyn explore other random zombie films (from both the famous to the obscure) that were made in the aftermath of George A. Romero's 1968 classic masterpiece.
While your host Bede Jermyn is a huge fan of all things zombie related, there's one area of entertainment that he is also a huge fan of: superheroes. It's very rare to find film or TV media out there that combines Bede's two loves. However, one of the biggest franachises in the world the Marvel Cinematic Universe managed to do that in 2025 with the release of the Disney+ produced animated TV mini-series Marvel Zombies, which was inspired by the acclaimed comic series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Greg Land & Mark Millar and a spin-off of the animated TV show What If... season 1 episode: "What If... Zombies?!".
Joining Bede to discuss the MCU zombie series are returning guest Marcus Wilturner (writer/contributor for The Super Network) and first-time guests Andy Gorham (co-host of Imperial Scum) & John Doucette (host of Smash Trivia Presents: The Gamma Analysis). Knowing that Marcus, Andy & John are also big MCU fans like Bede, did the mini-series live up to its potential? Listen in to find out!

Welcome to landmark episode 70 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead.
After checking out George A. Romero's 4th entry in his Dead series with Land Of The Dead on the previous episode of the show, your host Bede Jermyn is heading back into the world of Night Of The Living Dead comics by diving into a on-going one (?) that's a prequel to the original 1968 film. Not only that, it produced in installments for Heavy Metal magazine (later complied for a three issue comic book) and was written by Romero's son George C. Romero. That being the 2021 comic series The Rise. Not being confused with the 2016 NOTLD comic mini-series that Bede covered back just simply called Rise.
Joining Bede to discuss this, so far unfinished, comic series is returning guest Matt Konopka (KillerHorrorCritic.com, DreadCentral). Highlights include Bede & Matt wondering if George C. Romero's comic more ideas than character/story, how the comic links the traditional voodoo zombies to the modern flesheating zombies, why Bede thinks the plot is very muddled, whether or not we'll ever seen the final installments of the series, its controversal connection to NFTs and so much more.

Welcome to episode 69 of Bede Vs. The Living Dead.
Well, everyone. October is almost over, which means we're come to the end of the BVTLD network's Halloween Season Spectacular of the podcast. It has been a huge month for the show, and host Bede Jermyn is giving you an epic episode to cap it all off with. After making Day Of The Dead in 1985, George A. Romero stepped away from the zombie sub-genre to focus on other projects. However, he promised he would return to it someday. 20 years later in 2005 just zombie films were becoming popular again, Romero came back with his long-awaited fourth instalment in the Living Dead series with Land Of The Dead.
Joining Bede to discuss this fourth entry in the franchise are returning guests Lindsay Wilkins (Schlock & Awe), John Seavey (Half Price Horror) and Trevor Snyder (Failure To Franchise). Highlights include wondering if Land Of The Dead was worth the 20 year wait, how thematically the film is relevant now than it was in 2005, Eugene Clark's peformance as the zombie "Big Daddy", giving love to the film's supporting cast, how the film takes the phrase "eating the rich" literally, wondering if this is the most hopeful entry in the Dead series and so much more.

Welcome to episode 4 of Bede & Steve Vs. Leatherface, where your hosts Bede Jermyn & Steven T. Boltz explore the films of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise.
After the release both the box-office and ciritical failure of the 1990 third entry Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, no one knew what was going to happen next for the franchise. However in 1994, original TCM co-writer Kim Henkel got the rights to the franchise and decided to independently write/direct a fouth instalment. The resulting film was the 1995 film The Return Of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Unfortunately, the flopped when it was released in cinemas. Two years later after its two stars Renee Zellweger & Matthew McConaughey became huge stars, Columbia TriStar Pictures picked up the distrubution rights of the film and re-cut/re-released it in 1997 as Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation.
Joining the hosts Bede & Steve to discuss this incredibly divisive fouth film in the series are first-time guests film critic Matt Konopka (KillerHorrorCritic.com) and filmmaker Douglas A. Plomitallo (Jason Xmas, Halloween Candy). Highlights of this episode include Matt & Doug explaining the first TCM film they both saw, Bede & Steve trying to figure out what Kim Henkel was going for, debating if the film is a parody/subversive critique on the franchise, Matthew McConaughey's batshit insane performance, Doug explaining the illuminati elements of the story and so much more.
