Episode 62: Elusive Brewing Janet's Brown
In this episode I speak with Andy Parker from Elusive Brewing and we focus heavily on one of their new beers - Janet's Brown - an American Brown Ale brewed in collaboration with US Homebrew legend Jamil Zainasheff. We cover the background to the beer and its recipe, how Andy and Jamil came to brew their version of it and the brew day itself, as well as taste the beer. Grab yourself a can of Janet's Brown and sit down to listen all about it, then crack it open when we do!
The news section features the latest from closing breweries, such as Dig Brew and Bad Seed; Exale's new Bethnal Green neighbourhood pub; and the Great Sausage Roll Off at the Red Lion in Barnes.
There's also a run-down of my recent visit to the Bermondsey Beer Mile featuring stops at The Kernel, Craft Beer Junction, Brew by Numbers, Bone Daddies, Cloudwater and Anspach & Hobday.
Episode 61: Mash Gang
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
You may have decided to do Dry January, but even if you haven't (like me) this episode is well worth a listen as Mash Gang are No/Low Alcohol wizards and very funny guys too!

There's also some news about Elusive Brewing, Lost & Grounded, Beer Dad and much more!
Have a wonderful Christmas and see you all in 2023!

Some 20 months after the first American Special, back in March 2021, we're back with three US breweries as well as Lotte from the Brewers Association.

Episode 53: Steve from The Beer O'Clock Show
I'm back behind the mic after a holiday and a bit of a rest from the podcast with a very special guest for you! If you're a connoisseur of Beer Podcasts then you will of course know of The Beer O'Clock Show and #Hopinions. Well, recently, Steve - the host of both of those shows - has called it a day and retired from podcasting. But that doesn't mean he wants to stop talking about beer! Oh no, he still has lots to say and it was a delight to chat beer with him and also ask about his 10 years as one of the true pioneers of Beer Podcasting.
So, why not crack open an Oregon Trail (other beers are available) and have a listen?
