I love talking to people in the beer industry. At times like these when all hope seems lost, brewers still find ways to be innovative and positive. Long live craft breweries!

How should small breweries react to the complete banning of alcoholic beverages? Is there any hope of survival? What new things can we expect from brewers and consumers?

What a surreal time to be alive. I never imagined an episode where we weren’t allowed to sit together and have a beer. I wanted to check in with some local brewers to find out how they were coping during this global pandemic.

Nestled in the wine region of Constantia, this brewery / open style kitchen is the newest beer spot to open in Cape Town. We sit down with Murray no.4 and chat over a few of their beers. The pale ale is a winner. Life is good.
