  • Episode 24: Let Go

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.   A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

    Episode 24: Let Go

Our attachment to things can often be a source of suffering.

Whether those things are on the physical, emotional or mental plane. There will be many invitations to let go in our lives.

For some of us, we are taught that surrender is a sign of giving up and that it leads to imprisonment. But true surrender can also be a release to ultimate freedom.

In the wise words of Rumi - "Be like a tree and let the dead leaves drop".

What are you clinging onto? And why don't you want to let go?

An invitation awaits to walk a little more lightly, if we would only let go of the heaviness we carry.

Is it time to lay your burden down?

    Blessings to you. From me.

  • Episode 23: No coincidences

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.   A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

    Episode 23: No coincidences

We have all heard the saying "stop and take a breath". On the rare occasion, Life may invite you to "stop and give a breath" instead.

Sometimes our journey and present situation doesn't make sense, until it does. That is the kindness of the design.

May you have the courage to accept small opportunities for kindness, as they arise.

  • Episode 22: How to get struck by lightning

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.   A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

Episode 22: How to get struck by lightning

Sometimes inspiration and good fortune strike like lightning, seemingly out of nowhere. "Overnight successes" are born in the blink of an eye.

For others, it is a long runway. Commitment, repetition and hard work are the gateways to eventual flight.

In this episode, we explore the long and the short of it, how to get struck by lightning and the game of life.

May whatever you hear be a blessing to you and yours.

  • Episode 21: I AM...

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.   A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

    Episode 21: I AM...
This episode is short and sweet. Because long and sour doesn't sound as appetising.

I ask one simple question, where answering this question for yourself will change everything.

There's just one trick - don't try and answer it intellectually. Go a little deeper than your thoughts on this one...

May your remember the blessing that your True presence is - to all of us.

  • Episode 20: Mental Rehearsal

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.   A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

    Episode 20: Mental Rehearsal
Have you ever woken up from a dream and found that your body is still responding as if the dream were real?

Perhaps your body is tense and clenched with anger.

Maybe you have had that 'falling' feeling where your stomach climbs up into your throat.

Or have you woken up smiling and feeling amazing from your dream-state conquests? Ready to take on the real world again?

Anyone who has dreamt has noticed the power of the mind that primes the body for real world action.

In this short episode, we dive into visualisation and mental rehearsal.

Walt Disney summed it up well: "If you can dream it, you can do it".

    No. Seriously. He is right.

  • Episode 19: "Making time for what matters most" with Sharon Rech

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.

A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

It is often easy to see the outcome of one's hard work in the world. But underneath such dedication, we may not always get to see the love and heart that drives it all.

You are about to be invited into such a space - into the heart of one of the most courageous, brilliant-minded, hard working and inspiring humans that I have met.

As you listen to Sharon's story, I encourage you to hear the echoes of your own footsteps in her words.

Bright in intellect, resolute in action and generous in spirit - Sharon is a blessing in each of our lives. And for that, we humbly say "thank you Sharon".

Thank you for your very being in our lives.

  • Episode 18: Becoming Our Beliefs

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.   A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

    Episode 18: Becoming Our Beliefs
As Bruce Lipton says: "Our beliefs are more powerful than our reality"

    How is this so?

And what are the implications for the way you create and experience what we call "life"?

It's not just the scientists that have guided us along an understanding of the power of beliefs. Gandhi also gave us a powerful map as follows:

    “Your beliefs become your thoughts.

    Your thoughts become your words.

    Your words become your actions.

    Your actions become your habits.

    Your habits become your values.

    Your values become your destiny.”

Come up-stream with me to the edge of where it all begins - let's dive into the world of beliefs.

  • Episode 17: My inner kritiker

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.   A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

    Episode 17: My inner kritiker
I was once taught that any negative thought you have about yourself should be sung out loud to the tune of "happy birthday".

It's a funny thing to hear yourself sing so joyously about your inner criticisms. Try it for yourself.

It raises a most interesting question - what if your inner critic didn't speak your language? That's what we explore in this episode.

Be kind and gentle with yourself. Most of the voices in our heads are just the sound of yesteryear's television sets, that we accidentally left on.

Turn off the power and head outside. It is life changing out there.

  • Episode 16: "But I'm not creative..."

Welcome to the "Before I Go" podcast - with Lynden Rochford.   A platform to leave a legacy for those you love and care for.

Episode 16: "But I'm not creative"
If you have created the belief that you are not creative (see what I did there!), and you are convinced this is the case, might I suggest another option for you?

    Try being deletive instead.

Experience what it is like to let go, to delete, to make space and to breathe easier without so much congestion.

This episode is for those of you who feel lost in the maze that you created.

And what is the fastest way out of that maze?

Simple - just delete the walls, of course :-)
