Craig currently is the Director of Instruction at High Performance Golf Institute at Lake Las Vegas but is also a PGA Tour Veteran (explained on the podcast). He talks about his favorite one and why as we go back to the beginning with his first memory of the game of golf. He speaks about being not only a state champion (Nevada) but attending a junior college and winning multiple Nevada Tournaments while playing in the US Open the same year!

Craig goes into what this did for his career, turning pro, successfully getting thru Q school four times and what he is most famous that happened in Q school. This is a story you must hear! We talk about the many injuries he obtained along the way and what is means to have a medical extension on the PGA Tour. Hear Craig discuss ball striking and how important it is or isn’t to the game the difference between putting in work to your game vs playing for the love of the game. 

Craig is not only fantastic but one you will want more from him!

Jeff has over 25 years of experience in the game of golf. He talks about becoming a state champion in Indiana, becoming a pro, and what his nerves were like making his first pro cut. Jeff goes into the competition between his brother (Jim- 5x Winner on the PGA) and himself. We talk about getting into contention, being in a US Open and why playing in the US Senior Open (4x) has meant so much to him each time. 

There are plenty of great golf nuggets in this interview along with his injuries he has overcome and what it is like to be in the “golf groove.”

Aaron speaks about playing slow pitch softball with his father at age 10 and his mentors in the big league as a child. We go into detail about being drafted out of high school, the decision to attend college instead and what that taught him. How minor league baseball is different from college and the big leagues. 

After going over his fit at bat, first hit and how the White Sox and Aaron handled his first injury. We discuss how the team started to get gel in the 2004 season that led to a World Series Championship in 2005 to being traded less than a month later!

Doug Dieken is a native of Streator, IL and played 14 seasons as an OT with the Cleveland Browns from 1971-1984. He is currently the radio color analyst for Game Day for the Browns and was named Man of the Year in 1982. Doug is a member of several Hall of Fame organizations. 

Doug talks about growing up in Streator, IL, his playing days at U of IL along with leading the charge to keep a football coach from being fired. How he found out he was drafted, transitioning from TE to OT and playing over 200 consecutive game for the Cleveland Browns. 

We discuss his move to the radio booth, his broadcast partners, prep work for calling a game and what he did for three years when the team moved to Baltimore.
