Dylz and Kelz are joined by the multi-talented, multi-award winning Justin Ngai! Justin is a Stand-up Comedian, Actor, Producer, award winning Writer and a good friend, son and flatmate!

In the last few years Justin has battled through mental health struggles. We ask him how he's overcome his demons. We breakdown his experiences going through therapy, finding the right therapist and opening up to them. We talk culture, performing and how absolutely talented he is. Justin was born in NZ but grew up on the mean streets of Hong Kong (he never mentioned they were mean, but we've seen enough kung-fu movies to assume) before moving back to NZ when he was 14.  We also talk food (of course) - what is his comfort food and his go-to takeaways, including a few tips on the best Chinese food in Palmy.

In this rain-filled episode, Dylan and Kels swap hospital advice after Dylan recently spent 5 days locked up in Hospital.  

Backless gowns and hospital food are reviewed and the boys both open up about near-death experiences acknowledging the trauma these moments create and how it has effected them. They also shed light on how it has effected their loved one's and their view on dying after such experiences. 

Plus Dylan remembers his old radio show with mixed reviews, and Kel's happily announces his return to Stand-up Comedy after getting through a near year-long battle for better health.

We give updates on our mental health, the struggles we faced in the last 7 days and how we're coping with it all. We hear from Kels a "losing your virginity" story that is near impossible to beat, and the possibility of Kel's knocking up a Canadian girl! Dylan suggests a weekly "Kels sex story" segment (yet to be agreed to), before teaching us his unbeatable recipe for fried chicken. Boom, Episode 12 baby! Comin' in hot for our dirty dozenth Ep and recorded LIVE from her flat, we introduce our "kinda/sorta" first guest, Tracey Adams. 

Tracey recently co-hosted the Comedy Hub Awards and has been in the comedy game for 4 years. A decent effort considering what she's overcome during that time, including depression, anxiety and living with Asperger's. We discuss her journey from growing up on the family farm in Taranaki to moving here, the mean streets of Palmerston North to study. Tracey is not only a stand-up comedian but also one of the nicest people you'd ever meet. She's also a f**kin' badass, choosing to get into the intimidating world of stand-up comedy to meet new people, despite her raging social anxiety! Ballsy! We ask what her go-to food orders are, Dylan's new customised Maccas burger, his gameshow idea and how awesome Tracey's flat is. This was a fun episode to record, we hope you dig it!

Another good man lost to suicide. This Ep was recorded just hours after receiving the worst possible news, as Kels and the Palmy poker community mourn the loss of a friend. We talk about his friend, how it could've possibly been prevented, and how each and every one of us can help someone in need. Sometimes when people reach out its not about giving them a solution, but simply listening and being there for them. This tragedy certainly re-iterates the strong ethos and backbone of our Podcast - normalising conversations about mental health amongst men and how important it truly is. We also reminisce more about the 90's (showing our age perhaps?). We talk about Kel's Nan, her winning ways and how it changed their lives forever, bricks, cum-gutters, and the time Dylan and his classmate got lost in the bush for hours on the last day of school camp! This week we have a very special guest join us in Morgan Hunter-Bell!  Morgan is a multi-time award-winning comedian - his most recent being the 2021 Golden Gag award for best joke.

This extra-long, shit-talking Episode features us consuming alcoholic drinks, cookies and home-made pizza, as well as more pie talk, and TV shows we'd want to live in. We also put the classic phrase "Everybody has a price" to the test.

It's a new year and the boy's are back!  We talk about how far we'd go to please a lady, reveal where to find the best spring rolls in Palmy, and discuss a few masturbation techniques. We also talk about our future plans to find Palmy's best pie!

NB - Sorry its a noisy episode, some fanny-flap decided to do the gardening minutes after we started recording! Staying loyal to our "one take, no editing" approach though we soldiered through.
