We have special guest Dan Brader in the studio shed this week.  Dan has been in the comedy grind for over 15 years and has performed all over New Zealand and Australia. Dan is a total comedy grinder, hitting the roads, doing the gigs and living the nomad life

He is a no-punches-pulled type who wears his emotions on his sleeve.  This two-part episode goes all over but we discuss his mental health, his sexuality, movies, his parents, and more.  These episodes go from high to low pretty fast, so get those headphones in and strap in for this rollercoaster!

After a short break post our 24-hour marathon Podcast we are back baby!

We talk about the aftermath from our 24-hourglass Gumboot Friday Podcast, all the fantastic guests we had, and the overwhelming emotional toll it took on us

We chew the fat on the good and the bad, and what we learned for next time. We talk about how we amazing our daughter's are, and their skills in the kitchen.

And we talk a bit about new design ideas for BYJ. We've decided the noose has got to go, but we really wanna keep things close to what it already is - we love our lego-man! 

Its good to be back on the mic! We moving forward!

Tyrin randomly calls in (his audio is a little low sorry... he sounded good on the headphones) and we play "Are you a piece of shit?"

Our ongoing tech issues continue (ironically while we talk about tech issues).  We also dive in deep into self worth. 

This gets a bit heavy and we have kept with our no edit policy, so there are a few silences and lost for word moments.

Poor old Kels has been in hospital with a broken everything.  He recalls his 7+ day stay in Palmy hospital and almost makes Dylan vomit with the details. 

Its pretty sick, we got to warn you.  Dylan's Dad has a heart attack, and we also talk Auckland eateries. 

Dylan updates on his new medication and we also foghorn over new recording gears!!

Bit of a heavy episode this week. 

We discuss some feedback we have had recently on the show, that some people love when we are goofy, and others prefer when we are serious. We share our thoughts on this and talk about what the show is at its core.  We would love to hear from you on what you think!

Then Dylan dives deep into changes in his depression and how a recent drive to Hawera really made him think about his emotions. 

Naturally we update you on the progress on Sal's Pizza, talk GTA V and talk about how music can help bring out true emotion.  Remember its always ok to be impacted by art, be that music, poetry or a picture.
