Welcome back! We hope you're enjoying our mini burnout series! This week we are discussing how to close our burnout cycles. We will be referencing the Nagoski sisters' book once again! We will share suggested behaviors to close stress cycles, the evolutionary background of these behaviors, and our own cycle-closing routines.

Welcome back! This week we get into a prevalent topic in our field, burnout. We will be predominantly focusing on identifying burnout. What does it look like? How does it begin? How does it flourish? How can I bounce back?

To define burnout, we use the definition from the Maslach Burnout Inventory. After discussing the backing research, we will be getting personal by sharing our own experiences with you. Following our stories, and taking us into next week, we suggest some resources to identify your level of burnout and ways to begin mitigating it. Boundaries are not just for ~emotional~ use, they can aid in advocating for yourself, but also for creating schedules, reducing response effort, and maintaining your financial worth.
