Behind the Line

Jake Paul shocked many Saturday night when he knocked out Tyron Woodley in the sixth round. Jake Paul hasn't been taken seriously...especially by Dana White and others in the UFC. However...he did earn some respect by defeating Tyron Woodley.

We discuss whether or not Jake Paul is good for the sport of boxing...and if Dana White will give him a opportunity to join the UFC. We explain that Jake Paul isn't ready to face professional boxers...or elite MMA fighters.

Patrick Mahomes is the epitome of what an NFL team wants in its franchise quarterback. Not only does he win games...but his character is impeccable. Patrick Mahomes is humble and more importantly...he stays out of trouble.

However...Patrick Mahomes has one major problem. His brother...Jackson Mahomes. Jackson Mahomes is an embarrassment...and is developing a concerning pattern of behavior. We discuss several embarrassing instances involving Jackson Mahomes over the last two years.

We explain how his behavior could negatively impact the public image of Patrick Mahomes.

Lia Thomas continues to smash records in women's swimming. However...she is being ignored by the mainstream media and high-profile social justice warriors. ESPN refuses to report on Lia Thomas...Megan Rapinoe and Jemele Hill have remained silent.

The question is...WHY? We provide a theory as to why the mainstream media and social justice movement are ignoring Lia Thomas. We explain how Lia Thomas highlights the hypocrisy of the media...and how she falls into two different woke narratives.

We're a bit confused with Bill Simmons. Earlier this week...he floated the theory that Michele Tafoya was suspended by NBC over comments she made about Colin Kaepernick. Days later...Bill Simmons folds to pressure from woke Twitter.

We play the clip that Bill Simmons removed from his podcast featuring Jackie MacMullan...where she harmlessly impersonated Joel Embiid. This impersonation offended woke Twitter...causing Bill Simmons to issue an apology.

We also react to the NFL and NBA overreacting to social media and the mainstream media in regards to the COVI. Both leagues implemented new protocols...which are nothing but virtue signaling to social justice warriors.

Skip Bayless has made a television career by making outlandish statements. Skip Bayless has an unhealthy obsession with LeBron James. He also has an unhealthy love and admiration for Kevin Durant.

Skip Bayless went on Undisputed to reply to a tweet from Kevin Durant. During his diatribe...Skip Bayless claimed that Kevin Durant needed a feud with him...and that Kevin Durant needed Skip Bayless for motivation.

We dispute the claim that Kevin Durant needs Skip Bayless for motivation. We also explain how Skip Bayless has become a sad caricature of himself...with an unhealthy need for the attention and respect of NBA players.

Shad Khan and the Jacksonville Jaguars sent a press release early this morning announcing the firing of Urban Meyer. The short tenure of Urban Meyer with the Jacksonville Jaguars has been disastrous...arguably one of the worst coaching stints in NFL history.

Although firing Urban Meyer is the right move...it doesn't solve the real issues with the Jaguars. We outline the real problem in Jacksonville...and explain how the next few decisions could have a major impact on the career of Trevor Lawrence.

The NFL has been able to keep its ties to social justice causes at a distance. Roger Goodell has allowed the NFL to quietly support certain woke causes...but the NFL isn't as public with their support as a league like the NBA.

However...Fox Business has now exposed where some of the NFL contributions to social justice causes are being spent. We react to a Fox Business report...that exposes the NFL financially supporting the defund the police movement.

We explain the purpose behind the defund the police movement...and why social justice programs are pushing so hard to dismantle police. We question whether Roger Goodell and the NFL had knowledge their money is being used to defund police.

ESPN promoted and aired a documentary last night featuring NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace. The focus of the documentary covered the rope incident that occurred last summer. The media ran with the story...even after the FBI concluded it was a lie.

ESPN was blasted for airing this documentary...which was based on a lie. However...Bubba Wallace has been given a pass. Not one media outlet is calling out Bubba Wallace...for victimizing himself and allowing himself to be used by the woke media.

We blast Bubba Wallace for participating in promoting a false narrative...while calling out the media for letting him slide.

Michele Tafoya has been covering the NFL over 25 years...and since 2011 Michele Tafoya has been the sideline reporter for Sunday Night Football on NBC. However...the last three weeks...Michele Tafoya has been noticeably missing from Sunday Night Football.

We react to a theory floated by Bill Simmons...that Michele Tafoya was actually removed by NBC over remarks she made about Colin Kaepernick on The View. We reveal her remarks...and provide our theory as to why Michele Tafoya has been missing from NBC for three weeks.

Kelvin Sampson...along with several players and coaches...lost control Saturday night after a controversial no-call ended their game against Alabama. Kelvin Sampson demanded officials review a potential goaltending call at the last second...but officials refused.

This caused quite the scene in Tuscaloosa. We play several clips of Kelvin Sampson and others throwing a tantrum after the loss. We also highlight Jamal Shead...one of few involved with the Houston Cougars who maintained his self-control.
