Behind the Line

Colin Kaepernick is looked upon as the leader of the social justice movement in sports. Colin Kaepernick started the trend of kneeling during the national anthem...and he's supposedly committed to the cause.

This week...Colin Kaepernick was exposed as a fraud. We discuss an acquisition falling apart between Colin Kaepernick and The Change Company. We explain the reasoning behind the deal falling through...and show how Colin Kaepernick is to blame.

We reveal how this exposes Colin Kaepernick as a fraud in the social justice movement...and how the only thing Colin Kaepernick is concerned about is his own financial gain.

Cynthia Millen has been a swimming official for over three decades. Cynthia Millen will no longer officiate swim meets...because she resigned due to Lia Thomas being allowed to compete against women.

We applaud Cynthia Millen for quitting...and explain how this could be the answer to stopping Lia Thomas. We criticize the administration at Penn as well as the NCAA...for refusing to put a stop to Lia Thomas.

We also blast the woke media for remaining silent regarding Lia Thomas. People like Cynthia Millen...with very little authority...are having to step into a leadership position because the actual leaders won't take a stand.

NBA ratings continue to struggle throughout the 2021-22 season. NBA ratings have been in decline for several years...with record lows set in 2019 and 2020. The NBA ratings problem doesn't seem to be going away.

We compare NBA ratings last week to their competition. We show how the NBA was beat convincingly by the Jimmy Kimmel Bowl and the Independence Bowl. LeBron James and his one hundred million social media followers...couldn't crack two million viewers.

We explain how the media continuing to cover for declining NBA ratings doesn't help...and how both LeBron James and Adam Silver don't have a solution to the NBA ratings problem.

The protocols in sports continue to be ridiculous. Games are being postponed...or canceled. Players like Taysom Hill and Cole Beasley are being forced to miss games...only because of the NFL and their protocols.

We compare the stance of Doug Gottlieb...to the stance of Bob Costas on this issue. Doug Gottlied recently called out Cole Beasley...and those who support him...for being selfish. While Bob Costas took a common-sense approach on this issue.

We explain who the real victims are with these protocols...and how Jimbo Fisher should be held accountable for Texas A&M opting out of their bowl game.

Rex Ryan commented on the firing of Urban Meyer Sunday morning on ESPN. Rex Ryan claimed Urban Meyer was never qualified to coach in the NFL...and that Urban Meyer didn't possess the work ethic needed to be successful.

Anthony Ferris at Outkick took exception to this assessment. He insinuated that Rex Ryan wasn't qualified to speak on Urban Meyer in this manner. We dispel the notion of Anthony Ferris that Rex Ryan isn't qualified to speak on coaching in the NFL.

We make the case that Rex Ryan is actually over-qualified...while respectfully disagreeing with Outkick and Anthony Ferris.

Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders was able to sign Travis Hunter. Travis Hunter is considered to be the top high school football player in the country. Travis Hunter passed on a chance to play at Florida State to join Deion Sanders at Jackson State.

Terrell Owens and Hugh Douglas claim Deion Sanders was able to pull off this unprecedented accomplishment because of his skin color. We dispel the notion that skin tone was the reason Travis Hunter committed to Jackson State.

We provide the real reason Deion Sanders was able to successfully recruit Travis Hunter.

LeBron James posted another cryptic message to Instagram over the weekend. In the post...LeBron James claimed that being fake has become so accepted...that people now get offended when others keep it real.

We react to the irony of this message coming from LeBron James. We highlight numerous instances...where LeBron James has been fake.

We also discuss the altercation between Dennis Rodman and Jet Blue. Dennis Rodman had the police called on him...because he refused to properly wear his mask on the flight.

The NHL recently announced they will shutdown their season through Christmas due to the COVI. We've seen an increasing number of cases in the NFL and NBA...with both leagues electing to postpone games.

However...will Adam Silver follow the NHL lead...and shutdown the NBA regular season? We discuss what we think Adam Silver will do...and why we believe Adam Silver will temporarily shutdown the NBA season.

We explain how Adam Silver has folded to media pressure in the past...and the media is pressuring sports leagues to "properly" handle the virus.

NASCAR Brandon Brown has remained strangely silent in the three months following the birth of the Let's Go Brandon chant. Earlier this morning...we were finally given the reason. Brandon Brown gave an interview to the New York Times...and also wrote an op-ed for Newsweek.

Brandon Brown admitted being silenced after the Let's Go Brandon chant was born. Brandon Brown claims his advisors were hoping the chant would go away...and they worried about losing sponsors if he spoke out.

We compare the Brandon Brown situation to Bubba Wallace...and how both were handled differently. Brandon Brown claimed he will no longer be silenced...and will begin speaking on political issues he cares about. Will he appeal to common-sense thinkers...or his woke sponsors?

The defense of the New Orleans Saints once again dominated Tom Brady on Sunday Night Football. For the first time in his career...Tom Brady was shutout at home...as Dennis Allen and the Saints defense dominated him through four quarters.

We explain why the Saints defense is able to dominate Tom Brady...and why very few other teams can replicate the dominance. While fans of the New Orleans Saints have new playoff life this morning...we explain why the Saints are still in danger of missing the playoffs.
