Behind The Timeline

It's a brand new season! Season 3, to be exact! And with that brand new season comes a brand new decade in the Timeline: The 90's! We've made it here at last, gang. And how did we choose to reward your patience getting to this point? Why, with our favorite R.A.S. agents, of course. Bernard and Ms. Bianca return in this visual spectacle, albeit with a paper-thin plot and character development. Will this be the lowest score of the Disney Renaissance? Why did only one character in the entire country of Australia have an accent? Did you know that there was a Razorback in my truck, Joanna?

THE RENAISSANCE!! Everyone out for the coming of the 90's and the greatest collection of movies Scott and Lindsay's generation remembers because that's when they were alive because that's how science works! Marking the finale of Season 2 comes the water-wonderful, aw-inspiring, musically magnificent triumph of the Walt Disney company in 1989: The Little Mermaid - Lindsay's all-time favorite movie ever. Was she biased? Yea, I mean... come on. Y'knew it was coming. But we'll be damned if her points aren't unbiasedly brilliant, anyway!

Who do you think is the reigning king of the cowl!? Was it Keaton? We certainly... said things about him, today. Arriving on the heels of the tumultuous disaster that was Superman IV: The Quest for Peace, Tim Burton's Batman defied expectations and soared into a new era for comics, entirely. Now, does that mean this is a perfect movie? Oh, hell no. What're you: new here? No way, we dove deep on this one to uncover everything from the first date of Vicki Vale to the awesome art destruction to not being able to turn your head to back out of the driveway! COME ALONG WITH US!

It's back to the Timeline we go with the conclusion of the Indiana Jones original trilogy. Despite most of our previous 80's films, Lindsay HAD actually seen this - she just more or less forgot almost everything about it. Was she pleasantly surprised by how much she enjoyed it? Did the arrival of Sean Connery to the cast finally give us some emotional weight to stand behind? Why did it have to be snakes? Make sure to listen in as we discuss why OSHA would've hated this movie, Liundsay thinks this is better than a Bond film and of course, to reconfirm 80's Harrison Ford is STILL an absolute smokeshow!

IT'S OUR ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! And what a movie to kick it off with. Marvel's newest outting - and Taika Waititi's return - brings us face to face with not one but two lightning-wielding Gods of Thunder! After our stint with Multiverse of Madness, admittedly we're a little wary. But, we'll be damned if this wasn't a hella fun ride! Gorr absolutely killed it, the friendship of Jane and Valkyrie was something to aspire to, and Korg is... he's just wonderful. Join us as we break down what was workin', what was workin' too hard and what was just inoperable!

As we are well aware by now, all good things must inevitably meet their end. And boy what an end was it. We saw some long-time favorites meet surprising new adventures, old faces return to stir up some crazy and right in the middle of it all is a weirdly emotional moment with the 'Lander, himself! Did we see it coming? Absolutely not. Did we hate it? Absolutely not. Did we agree on what's coming next? Absolutely not!

**Please be sure to check out the links and resources listed below for more information on the current events of the past week! We appreciate each and every one of you!**

HEROGASM HAS ARRIVED!! And it was... truth be told, kind of tame? Is "tame" the right word? It was still screwy as all hell. Anyways, in addition to the sexually unhinged and outlandishly raucous nature of the heroes we saw in attendance, we also got some incredible moments of retribution from A-Train, a powerful (albeit naked) tipping point for #HughieLight and a magnificent fight that only The Boys could deliver as Soldier Boy and Homelander finally come face-to-face!!
