Our creative muscles get stronger the more we use them. One of the things I love about sewing is the creative process, taking something that's flat and lifeless, but in your mind's eye you see this magnificent mask. We are creators, we were created in the image of God why wouldn't we be able to create? Creation is about finding your voice exploring experimenting. Morgan is the daughter of Penny, Penny is one of my Facebook friends from the running community. Morgan is exploring with her voice on her YouTube Channel Understanding Culture
Oh yeah I haven't mentioned my Ko-fi page. The launching of my Ko-fi page is me embracing my talents, this is me walking in my purpose, this is me taking the leap, acknowledging that what I'm doing is providing a valuable service for the audience, the guest and the sponsors. BTW Podcast is a business.
I took the leap 4years ago to drive for Uber/Lyft Full-time, so I could have the flexibility to devote to building BTW Podcast. Ko-fi is platform that will allow entrepreneurs/business owners to sponsor an episode PRE, MID or POST roll, it also allows you to buy me a cup of coffee.

Getting fired can be a good thing, it doesn’t have to be viewed as a failure. Yesterday I posted the question on Facebook several people commented and liked the post, Brandie Mcghee draw a comparison between being fired and getting a divorce.
I’ve been fired and laid off from a job in my past and I’ve quit. When it happened I was devastated, embarrassed, angry. I knew he was out to get me. He had tried for months, working for a homophobic racist narcissist wasn’t.
I was never one for brown nosing or ass kissing, I knew my days were numbered, but I determined not to quit. Staying was more stressful. Working in a hostile work environment is not fun, you’re constantly walking on eggshells. When your leader usurps you’re authority it cripples you, it deteriorates morale. In retrospect it was as a gift.

During this episode we follow up with Wing It On in Stratford CT., as part of our strategy to in crease awareness of the show in CT. In a previous episode I mentioned The Checklist Manifesto and butchered the authors name-my bad Atul. Tons of other good stuff included.

While walking through Walmart on Sunday evening inspiration knock me upside my head and caused me to buy some fabric. OK, maybe I’m being a bit dramatic.
I saw some purple fabric, I liked it so, I picked it up figured I’d make a mask. I had a little work to do preparing for an upcoming episode on narcissism in relationships. I figured I’d watch the Invisible Man and make a mask at the same time-I’m multitasking-sewing relaxes me. Sewing allows me to flex my creative muscles.
Melissa, a long time supporter of behind the wheel saw the mask and asked if I was selling them, I wasn’t at the time. But, because she was a supporter of the show I figured I’d make a mask for her. The last guy was making at the time we’re hands-on but I knew if I was going to be selling them for someone else probably come out better if I use the machine plus it would be faster, but I didn’t have a machine at the time.
So, I asked my sister if she had a machine, Yvonne said no. I told Yvonne I was going to go to the Goodwill and find a machine she said OK. I was sitting in Fed ex at the time not knowing whether or not goodwill even had a machine but I just felt like hey I’ll give it a shot I’ll go there I’ll get a machine and I’ll start sewing. And as fate would have it I found a machine.
Felicia Thomas told me to "Boss Up... Be Fucking Amazing," She said those words to me as we were talking about narcissism in relationships. Felicia is the founder of FSC Workshops

Yvonne Michele for the UK is going to be a guest on the show, interviewed her this morning times.. Ola Smallz an artist from Ikoyi, NG, we came across his music on Twitter and we were able to book him for the show.
Some people have some adventurous online first date stories, first date was with a vertically challenged person, the second date was with a guy with no legs. I haven't dated online in a minute. Dyetta and Cathy are working on a pilot, they are hilarious.

Please join us in congratulating both the 2020 Man of the Year awarded to Michael "The Dream Chaser" Smith and the 2020 Leadership award awarded to Kelly Worrell! We are happy for you and proud of the work you’re doing in the community with your platform. After suffering a horrific hit and run accident, which he probably wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for a random angel who stopped to apply a tourniquet. Michael experienced a host of emotions and fell into a depression, but he didn't stay wallowing in self pity. Michael found his way out of the darkness through conversations with his mother and his faith in God.

In an unrehearsed introduction for this episode, I said: "You either love her, or hate her, or you love to hate her." In 2019 Latoya was getting dragged through these social media streets, something awful. You would think they were getting paid attack her and the compensation worked was based off likes and vile comments. I mean keyboard warriors were on standby, it was an obsession. I've never been obsessed with an entertainer or a sports figure, I was caught up in an entanglement once, but I'll save that for the book.
My mother was a fat, and my sister who introduced me to running struggled with her weight all her life, so I get it-I was empathic to her plight. I spoke out in her defense, and not as though she needed any to speak up on her behalf. Latoya has a quick wit and fast hands, I think she uses the dictation. I was attacked for voice my opinion on what black excellence was, tearing down a another black person whilst claiming to stand for black excellence is a ridiculous argument.

Ralph was born in 1956 and raised in Savannah, GA. He attended a segregated catholic school through 4th grade and was then a part of the national experiment, where he and a neighbor first integrated an elementary school when he was in the 5th grade. That first walk through the school year was my Little Rock. I ran for class president in 6th grade, but they were not ready for little Obama yet.
In college Ralph had 2 room mates on the track team, one of which convinced him to run 3 miles one day just to prove he could. He never stopped running since then but he never called himself a runner until becoming curious about the Peachtree Road Race in 1991. Next, he stumbled across the South Fulton Running Partners in 1997 which he found out quickly was the oldest African American running club in the US, founded in 1979. The camaraderie took him places I would never envision on his own- to marathons, adventure races and ultimately triathlons and that Ironman thing by age 59. I’ve watched the African American endurance community explode over the past 10 years with the advent of social media.

Some of my best thoughts occur while I'm on the throne, on one such occasion, I happen to see two post with a similar pose and that was a trigger for me-Lol. I vowed in a Facebook post to trow my phone out the window and scream if I saw one more picture with a woman posing with one leg bent. It was an obvious joke. I love people, I love my people, I love women and you'll never catch me degrading women periodt!
After giving some additional thought to the matter I wrote a Medium piece about it: "Is It Time To Retire The Contrapposto?" Contrapposto (Italian pronunciation: [kontrapˈposto]) is an Italian term that means “counterpoise.”
When I woke up the next morning, I went live on Facebook and touched on everything, from Fanny Packs to why I hate Skechers for make knocks offs of Nike and even Hoka. Nia The Author happened to be on the live, when I started talking about having the courage to pursue your dreams-If you haven't got a copy of her book swing by her page.
