Cincinnati Bengals defense coordinator Lou Anarumo joins us today on In the Trenches with Dave Lapham to discuss the Bengals' upcoming training camp and the position battles on the defensive side of the ball.

Lou and Lap talk about the new vision for the Bengal's defense in 2024. With a lot of new players joining the defense, it will be interesting to see which players emerge as starters for the start of the 2024 season. 

The biggest position battle seems to be in the secondary, with Dax Hill competing at outside corner instead of safety like in 2023. The Bengals also have three starting-caliber safeties that will be fighting for starting playing time; Geno Stone, Vonn Bell, and Jordan Battle. 

Coach Lou is extremely excited about his new defense in 2024 and can't wait to get things rolling at the start of training camp.
