• McDonald's (MCD) -
• Shares were down 2% Tuesday morning following better-than-expected quarterly results but a 2023 outlook which suggested the company's margins could be lower than the level reported in Q4 2022.
• Following the results, an analyst at Cowen called McDonald's Q4 a "strong" end to 2022. The analyst was also pleasantly surprised with McDonald's guidance unit growth amid higher capital expenses.
• SoFi Technologies (SOFI) -
• Analysts at Oppenehimer issued a research note Tuesday morning and said "stick with SoFI and add [shares to a position] on downdrafts [in the stock price]." The stock closed up more than 12% on Monday following strong quarterly results.
• Trade Desk (TTD) -
• A beneficiary following the Department of Justice's lawsuit against Alphabet (GOOGL). Analysts at Needham noted the DoJ's goal is to have Google give up control of its advertising technology. In addition to naming Trade Desk as a beneficiary following the eventual outcome of the suit, Needham analysts also mentioned Innovid Corp. (CTV) and Magnite (MGNI) as potential winners.
• Bill.com (BILL) -
• Analysts at Piper Sandler Tuesday morning said "recessionary headwinds [for Bill.com] might not be as bad as feared."
• Li-Cycle Holdings (LICY) -
• A play on lithium. Analysts at Chardan Research cut their price target on Li-Cycle from $13 to $10 while the firm maintained the equivalent of a buy rating.

Ahead of the report, Morgan Stanley named Tesla its top pick in the US automobile space. The firm said it likes Tesla's "profitability, free cash flow generation, strong balance sheet and an ability to use its scale and cost leadership to drive competitive advantage."
• McDonald's (MCD) - Will report quarterly results on Tuesday before market open.
• Snap (SNAP) - To publish Q4 earnings on Tuesday after market close.
• Shopify (SHOP) - Shares rebounded from below a notable technical level at $42 to push over resistance around $44. The stock was up 6% Wednesday morning. While the Benzinga Pro newsdesk did not see any formal news to justify the move in Shopify shares, traders on social media circulated a blog post which suggested Shopify may have risen prices for some of its services. This article may be the one traders are referencing but this information still seems to be unconfirmed.

• Albemarle (ALB) -
• A play on a lithium miner. The company gave better-than-expected guidance Monday afternoon and will host a strategy webcast at 9 a.m. EDT Tuesday. To tune into the webcast, visit Albemarle's investor relations page.
• Genius Group (GNS) -
• A penny stock momentum play. Shares were squeezed higher Monday as traders and investors circulated news highlighted in a Benzinga article "Illegal Short-Selling Scheme Puts Genius Group In David Vs. Goliath Fight." Genius CEO Roger James Hamilton appeared on Benzinga's YouTube channel Monday and noted company management is not planning to do an offering amid a sharp rise in the stock price.

• While analysts at JP Morgan and Wedbush upgraded the stock to the equivalent of a buy rating, an analyst at Oppenheimer said "chances of a worst-case scenario [for Wayfair have] now lessened."

• A play on the online education space. Shares were downgraded to Hold by analysts at Needham Wednesday morning. The firm cited management's long-term initiatives which will likely limit near-term upside in the stock.
• Genius Sports (GENI) -
• A play on a favorite pick by analysts at Oppenheimer. The company is a provider of data and services for the sports and sports betting spaces.

• Manchester United (MANU) -
• A play on an overlooked rumor from Friday morning. Towards the end of November 2022, Manchester United announced it would explore strategic alternatives including a possible sale.
• On Friday of last week, a report from the UK's Telegraph suggested takeover bids for Manchester United were "imminent." Despite the report, Manchester United shares closed up only 0.9% to end last week.
• BIT Mining (BTCM) -
• Bitcoin and crypto-mining stocks were getting attention Friday morning following bitcoin prices which moved over the $20,000 level for the first time since early November. Shares of BIT Mining were up about 20% on the bitcoin price action.

• Wendy's (WEN) -
• A dividend play. Wendy's doubled its quarterly dividend Friday morning, from $0.25 to $0.50 per share.
• The company also announced a $500 million buyback plan.
• Palo Alto Networks (PANW) -
• A top pick in the cybersecurity space by analysts at Morgan Stanley. While Morgan Stanley is cautious on the security space near term, the firm's analysts "believe Palo Alto's positioning as next-gen platform consolidator is stronger than it's ever been..."
• Blue Apron (APRN) -
• A play on a high short interest penny stock which moved over the $1 level as of Friday morning.
• The Benzinga Pro newsdesk team did not identify news to justify the move higher. According to the Benzinga Pro Details tool, short interest in Blue Apron neared 30%.
