People always assume burnout comes from something negative or a job they don’t like
But actually, burnout can also come from something we’re passionate about. Something we enjoy and like to spend our time on.
This is because we’re more personally invested and ride those highs and lows in a more profound way.
The goal is to help prevent burnout (because prevention is easier than recovery).
Having boundaries with your passion can help you have more work/life harmony, rather than allowing it to become a complete obsession.
Listen now to find the 3 main areas to help you stave off burnout!

Today I want to talk about everything related to burnout - why you may be at risk for burnout, what signs to look for, and what steps you can take right now to address it. Burnout is a real issue that affects many people, and if you're feeling overwhelmed and exhausted, you're not alone.
Remember, taking care of yourself isn't selfish; it's necessary for your well-being. So, prioritize self-care, set boundaries, practice mindfulness, connect with others, and seek help if you need it.
In fact, seeking the help of a burnout coach may be just what you need to get back on track.
A burnout coach can help you identify the root causes of your burnout, provide you with practical solutions, offer emotional support, help you create a healthier work-life balance, and help you create lasting change. Why do we need to feel “guilty” about the things that make us happy? Why should we be ashamed? Typically, those “guilty pleasures” are the things that make me smile and that I look back on with happy memories.
When we talk about guilty pleasures, it’s the fact that the activity is solely for pleasure - and not necessarily productive - that we see it as a luxury rather than a necessity. There’s a lot of baggage we need to break down, as guilt is a learned behavior - so let’s unlearn it!
This episode will help us begin to look not only at where that guilt comes from but also how to begin letting that guilt go!
“Mindset is trying to read the label from inside the bottle.” Isabelle Fortin
Isabelle Fortin is a veteran turned mindset coach. Like you, she has been stuck in a mental rut.
Despite having a supportive family and friends, a good job, and financial stability, she found herself feeling unhappy and constantly haunted by negative thoughts and limiting beliefs about herself. She realized she was basing her self-worth on the opinions of others and THAT was not a healthy way to live. So began a long journey to healing and self-discovery.
As a natural listener, strangers and friends alike would often come to Isabelle to share their deepest thoughts and feelings. They knew she would listen without judgment and provide a safe space for them to be vulnerable. It was through a friend's comment that she realized that her true passion was to be a mindset coach. And so began the part of her journey that has led her to you.

Burnout is like a sneaky ninja that creeps up on you when you least expect it, right?
So, let's shine a light on the BLOCKS that can trigger this exhausting phenomenon. Because it’s not just outside situations that can cause burnout - sometimes it’s US - we’re the problem and get in our own way from living the kind of life we keep saying we want to have.
So in the episode, I want to share some of these blocks and have you do a little scan/self-assessment to see if this is something you might be doing and need to be conscious of and aware of so that you can intentionally work on to prevent it.
