We are so thrilled to have one of our favorite content creators joining us for today's episode. Mel is the creator behind Sweating at Nap Time. She is a mom of two, an HR girlie who works full time from home, a fitness instructor, and somehow also has time to keep up with social media. After Jordan is done fan-girling, we dive into all of the things from the importance of flexibility in parenthood, fitting in time to sweat daily, sleep struggles in those newborn days, transitioning back to work from maternity leave, and how she decided to start Sweating at Nap Time (seriously, one of my first follows as a new mom and still a favorite to this day!!). Listen along and then go follow Sweating at Nap Time on Instagram and TikTok!
This week we sat down with Jess Giesen to chit chat about her life as a toddler mom, full time bad ass lawyer, and business owner. She shares with us the ups and downs of her daughter's stay in the NICU, her maternity leave, the transition back to work, moving across the country, starting her clothing company, Counsel Couture Co., and the struggle to find time for herself in the midst of it all. Take a listen to hear how Jess does it all, including record this podcast with me while a crazy thunderstorm got stuck over my house. And check out Counsel Couture Co. for the cutest and wittiest law inspired apparel we have ever seen.
This week we’re chatting with Tessa Florio of Tessa Florio Wellness. She shares the details of her journey to becoming a mom to her three daughters. From the loss of her mom while pregnant with her first daughter, to discovering her passion for nutrition and ultimately earning her masters degree, to now starting her own business, all while raising her daughters with her husband Frank, Tessa's journey is truly an inspiring one.

This week I chat with a dear friend, Brittany, who is a full time working mom of two! We discuss the fascinating and important work she does consulting with employers on their reproductive health and family support benefit packages. We also dive into her personal experience returning to work after having each of her children, daycare, mom-guilt, and postpartum depression and anxiety. We finish the episode with a great discussion about her two different birth experiences: one in a traditional hospital setting and one at a midwifery birthing center. This episode we are really covering it all!

In this episode I talk to Ashley Hardwick, an incredible mom of three (who also happens to be my sister-in-law). She breaks down everything from the challenges of her last pregnancy while her husband was deployed, to her current days as a stay-at-home mom and homeschool teacher to her two oldest, and how to make mom friends. Moral of this episode: do what works for your family and don't worry what other people are doing!! (we know, easier said than done)
In this inaugural episode I talk to Dayami Emory, founder of @dayamifrommiami, about the daily balance of being a full time working mom and content creator, including her transition to working motherhood, meal prep, daily movement, help with the kiddos, and so much more.

From coffee to chaos: a real moms’ guide to surviving motherhood.
Have you ever seen a mom friend or social media personality seamlessly juggling all of the balls in…
From working moms, to “stay at home” moms (oh how we hate that term), to work-from-home moms, to single moms, to moms who have family help to those that have paid help and those that have no help, no matter how you do it, every mom handles the logistics of parenting differently. Maybe hearing different perspectives on how moms organize their day and get things done not only for their family but for themselves too, will give you some ideas for your own life. Or maybe not. But at the very least, we hope it is validating to hear that no matter how you do it and how much coffee you drink, being a mom is so. damn. hard.
