This one might sting a little.

We were taught that diagnosis was the doorway to healing. That naming it made it real. That codes and categories were compassionate. But somewhere along the way, the map became a cage—and we started mistaking paperwork for presence.

In this episode, I’m calling out what too many therapists, helpers, and healers have silently felt for years: that diagnosing often serves the system more than it serves the soul. That what we learned in school was incomplete at best, and harmful at worst. That we were lied to—and we’re still living with the impact.
