In this episode, I discuss the importance of taking personal responsibility for our lives and creating the results we want. I start by defining personal responsibility and providing examples of how it can be applied in various aspects of life. Then dive into the common tendencies of blaming and making excuses and how to recognize them.
Some areas common areas of blame, include decisions made based on prayer, spouses, co-workers, food, and bosses. I explore how to take full responsibility for our lives by selecting one area of our life to examine and separating facts from stories.
Finally, there is a practical exercise to help you take ownership of your life. By selecting one thought that you are using to blame and asking yourself the question, "If it was totally up to me, what would I do?", you can gain a sense of control and move forward into a more responsible state.
Small changes in accepting ownership can alter the trajectory of your entire life. So, stop blaming others and start creating the results you want by taking full responsibility for your life. Thanks for tuning in!
