In this episode, we speak with the founder of Flowy, Celine Tien.
Flowly is a virtual clinic designed for the 1 in 5 Americans living with chronic pain. Our 12-week program focuses on nonstructural pain, empowering patients to manage pain, anxiety, and stress in their day-to-day lives. Flowly integrates behavioral health support through licensed therapists trained in pain psychology, along with a proprietary at-home VR and biofeedback system that enables self-guided practice.
Providers can partner with Flowly to offer their patients on-demand access to the latest in pain psychology and therapeutic techniques, easing the burden on clinics by supporting patients' mental and emotional health from home.
Celine Tien is founder and chief executive officer of Flowly. In her role, Celine leads a team focused on delivering the latest in pain science in an accessible and comprehensive way for people with chronic pain. Celine got her start in VR as the director and writer of the award-winning film, Pippa’s Pan 盼, one of the world’s first immersive virtual reality hybrid live-action films. Prior to Flowly, Celine grew up as a film/TV actor and model, and later worked in feature development at Oriental DreamWorks in Shanghai and DreamWorks Animation in Los Angeles. Celine is also the founder of the nonprofit education-based organization: Zoom for Kids! Celine studied English and Film at Yale University.
