Learning your partner's love language and your own primary love language will help create a stronger bond in your relationship. Pay close attention to the other person instead of the differences in your ways of communicating and expressing love. For example, if you're not getting what you want, you're probably speaking a love language that your partner doesn’t fully understand….and your partner speaks a love language that you have yet to learn.

There may not be anything wrong with your relationship, you just haven't learned their love language or you need to pay attention to who is needing what. When we're very needy and the other person is preoccupied We can begin to act out because we're not getting our needs met, and vice versa.  Connecting with people is the true foundation of developing true lasting intimacy in any relationship. In this podcast I discuss the 5 elements that create the strongest bonds between the people we connect with and love. How we connect to others determines the strength of the relationship. Intimacy is not just physical, its begins within and is spiritual. Emotional intimacy is the connection between two people that involves giving the other your absolute undivided attention. It is strengthened by listening to your partner and being listened to. It's is about being honest about your feelings. Say the things that are hard to say with thoughtfulness and love. "I'm hurt, this scares me, I love you, I miss seeing you." Simple and honest communication. Know what you feel and communicate if from a place of "I" instead of "you."

Allow yourself to be vulnerable because although being vulnerable is scary, it deepens intimate connections between two people. If you are trying to protect yourself, you're not being emotionally intimate. You have to allow your heart to be exposed. There's a freedom in being emotionally naked. It's being rooted in your truth. It's honoring the intimate connection with yourself!

Chasing someone or something does not get you what you want. Your vibration does. The only thing you need to do is hold the vibration if what it is that you want to attract. You have to become it and live what you believe. You attract what you vibrate to.

Energy follows intention.  So, let's ask the question what is your intention?

You can only have what is already yours and what fits your self-concept.

Your energy shows up long before you do. How you feel about yourself and what you think about yourself send signals to other people. Bigger than that, your subconscious mind is always listening to what you're saying. Your outer world is a reflection of your inner world.  Samantha and I discuss how to change your energy to have what you want in a relationship by choosing yourself first. If you want them to chase you, you must stop chasing them.
