he Government cut around 1,000 jobs today and still we're to hear a reason as to why this is a good idea. We've heard the previous Government answer why there were more jobs needed, but apart from "we can't afford it" when we clearly can, this Government hasn't offered any practical reasons why fewer public servants leads to a better public sector.
