Tim and Mary discuss the newsworthy items of the day, at least from a media point of view. It’s always been a bit of a grab bag because there are always things going on behind the scenes that don’t seem to warrant further inspection by those who curate our news. At least in the days of constant feeds, some of them leak out. Today we look at the Iran talks, and try to parse out who the players are. Antisemitism continues on in public events, in this case, an event at Princeton. Who will ensure that someone is accountable for this latest mess? There wasn’t even a school ID necessary, probably because that leaves the door open for paid actors to come in and rile everyone up. Also on the agenda: China rare earth elements, and why the US has to care about that; and the latest on Smart Cities for Dummies. What the globalists think is important; ie, what they can get away with, never ceases to amaze. One has to wonder what globalists like Klaus Schwab think of Islam because they might get overridden by that global agenda. Interesting times indeed.

On today’s program, Tim and Mary Danielsen look at a handful of the signs, or indicators, that we are in those days of the labor pains on earth. When Jesus spoke of the signs in the earth, He said to watch for natural signs as the “beginning of labor pains”. I guess the one thing we all want to know of course, is, how close are we – when do things point to the middle of pains?  When it comes to watching on the part of the church, it seems they are looking for more drama because the majority are NOT watching, as if these things are just normal — “all things continue as they have been” is the general thinking.  In light of that, we take a look at the crazy weather this Spring as we perceive creation groaning, or is it rather, raging? Then we look at a random selection, or snapshot of the day: DEI gone wicked in Colorado; hypocrisy and Hamas both home and abroad. Those who watch tend to murmur that it’s difficult to keep up, but there are some significant subjects that always warrant our inspection and attention: Israel, a global money system, a world government, and a global religion. The apostasy of the church is also a vast subject not for the faint of heart. A full hour of news and commentary.

So many accomplishments, far too numerous to list here, but he is an experienced and internationally known expert on national security and foreign affairs. In addition, Colonel Maginnis has decades of media experience as a columnist, a Fox News military analyst and as an on-air commentator for multiple radio programs and networks to include Salem Radio Network. Today’s subject might not be something we like to think about, but in our chaotic world, and when measured against the sure word of Bible prophecy, we know that wars and rumours of war are part of the package. In the book, he outlines 6 sections that help us add to our knowledge about such a world-realigning event. Is the world ripe for war? What have we learned from previous wars? What does the 21st century battlefield look like, in terms of technology and AI? What might some of the flashpoints be, and can it be deterred? Finally, how to prepare our local communities and what our role as Christians should be, our priorities. A fascinating hour with an experienced geopolitical icon.

Time to break out some headlines once again. Some might wonder why we do headline programs on Stand Up, and the answer is straightforward: Jesus tells us in Matthew 16:2-3 “But He answered and said to them, ‘When it is evening you say, “It will be fair weather for the sky is red,” and in the morning, “there will be a storm today for the sky is red and threatening. Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky but cannot discern the signs of the times?” Being alert and sober covers so much of our walk with the Lord, day after day – and prophecy is certainly part of that. As hard as it is to look at what the world is up to, we should at least have some idea of the bigger stories so we can continue to watch and prepare our hearts for His return. So today we will catch up on the world’s treatment of Israel and how God deals with that. Another fascinating headline has to do with Ezekiel 38 and those “horsemen” that are mentioned. If Russia’s army will be on horseback, how do we reconcile that with a high tech world that has completely altered the landscape of how the nations go to war? What is a Cossack anyway? We also look at the Doomsday Clock, and what triggers the existential angst of scientists. Is it a shiny new weapon? A Trump administration? Well, maybe – but technology is the one thing that seems to inch us closer to the Apocalypse and that toothpaste is not going back into the tube.

How could it be accomplished with the infrastructure issues and humanitarian issues? Will citizens be relocated? How long would it take,  and what is the price tag? Is this plan intertwined with restarting the Abraham Accords? What nations would be involved? So many questions, and proposals are flying around like mosquitoes in July. John is uniquely gifted to sort it all out, the good, bad and ugly. What a time to be alive.

Or is it erasing/rebooting/redefining reality? When we no longer can tell what is from the mind of a  human and what is alarmingly fake, we are entering a new phase of existence. AI is replicating itself exponentially mostly thanks to the ground breaking actions of social media, which was just the beginning. And those who are responsible for it’s growth don’t seem to be asking any ethical/moral/philosophical questions about where it’s going. Now that we are addicted to technology, the web has been fully spun.

Patrick has been ahead of the tech curve for many years. As an author, speaker, and economist, he continues to challenge us to think soberly and purposefully about just what it means to live in these times unlike any other in history, largely due to the infrastructure of technology that has been building for many decades.

Trump and Musk have pulled the plug on the gooey, swampy USAID organization that provides funding to multiple countries for such diverse and in some cases, covert activities, such as terrorism, liberal causes, the overthrow of governments, and the corrupt Big Media. Taxpayer money has always been earmarked for overseas government aid, some of which, such as aid to Israel, actually is in our best security interests. But the average American, even before pulling the voting lever in November, truly had no idea that this was even taking place. We also look at the proposal for the US to take over Gaza, leveling the current decimated landscape, and giving Gazans a new start. With all that going on, we see that someone has put their foot on the gas pedal to make American’s lives better – yet the march to globalism goes on outside our borders, fulfilling Bible prophecy.
