Est 4:4 – 7:10 Hear how the remnant of believers and God’s servants Mordecai and Esther respond to Haman’s order, and more importantly, how God responds.

We discuss how small the remnant of believers might have been in Mordecai’s day, (and how small it’s been at other times), man’s inhumanity toward man as expressed in the making of eunuchs, and the unspoken presence in the Book of Esther of the promise of God to preserve Israel forever.

We’ll examine the question of inspiration brought against this book by some Jewish scholars in light of the pictures of the obedience of the Messiah in Esther’s obedience, and the picture of the apostate Jewish church in Haman.

We’ll elucidate the difference between using people and loving them as presented in Esther, and as taught by the apostle Paul in the Gospel of the Grace of God revealed to him by Jesus Christ for believers today.
