II Cor 4:15 – 5:21
Reversing the curse of Romans 1. Should we do good for good’s sake, or for the reward of God? Reversing the curse of Genesis 3. Superstition and pride versus reason and humility. Being absent from the Lord, and walking by faith excludes miracles for today, (see our previous study: Who’s got the Holy Spirit).
We’ll talk a bit about the bible study “rule of first occurrence” and then an in depth study into sleep as it’s presented in the bible, both literally and figuratively, and judge whether or not the concept of a temporary state of “soul sleep” in past times, and before the rapture, and/or the 2nd coming are heretical.
We will show more scripture to support our assertion that the term “the Jews” specifically in John’s Gospel, was a pejorative term meaning unbelieving Israel. And we will revisit the Judgment Seat of Christ.
