  • I Am Doing a Work You Would Not Believe (Habakkuk 1:5–11)

God answers Habakkuk’s cry, but His response is not what the prophet expected. In Habakkuk 1:5–11, the Lord reveals that He has been at work all along, raising up the Babylonians as an instrument of judgment. This unsettling answer stretches Habakkuk’s faith and forces him to wrestle with God’s sovereignty, justice, and surprising methods. The passage reminds us that God is never idle, even when His ways are difficult to understand, and calls us to trust His character when His plans go beyond our perspective.

  • How Long, O Lord? (Habakkuk 1:1–4)

Troubled by God’s apparent silence, the prophet asks how long he must wait for justice to come. This opening lament gives voice to faithful suffering and shows how honest prayer belongs within a life of trust, even when God’s ways are not yet clear.

  • Habakkuk: Faith When God Doesn’t Make Sense

In this opening episode, we begin a journey through the Book of Habakkuk, one of Scripture’s most honest and searching books. Habakkuk invites us into a conversation between a struggling prophet and a sovereign God—a conversation shaped by hard questions about injustice, God’s silence, and the apparent success of the wicked. This episode sets the stage for the whole series, exploring the book’s central themes of God’s justice, sovereignty, and the call to live by faith when answers are unclear. Habakkuk shows us that faithful trust does not mean having everything explained, but learning to rest in God’s character even when life doesn’t make sense.

  • The King We Needed on a Cross (Mark 15:16–47)

Jesus endures mocking, beating, and the agony of crucifixion. Darkness covers the land as He bears the wrath of God for sin. When He dies, the temple curtain tears, symbolizing open access to God through His sacrifice. He is buried in a tomb, watched by faithful women. This episode reveals the deep theology of the cross and shows that Jesus is the King who saves by suffering in our place.
