  • The Sovereign Savior in the Upper Room (Mark 14:12–31)

Jesus prepares the Passover meal with complete foreknowledge and control over every detail. During the supper He reveals that one disciple will betray Him and then institutes the Lord’s Supper, showing that His body and blood will establish the new covenant. Afterward Jesus predicts that all the disciples will fall away, including Peter’s coming denial. Yet through it all His sovereignty shines, demonstrating that nothing is unfolding outside God’s plan.

The episode highlights God’s sovereignty and the difference between wholehearted worship and hardened unbelief.

  • Right Belief, Real Devotion (Mark 12:35–44)

In this episode of Bible Tidbits, we look at Mark 12:35–44 where Jesus contrasts the pride of the scribes with the humble faith of a poor widow. In this episode of Bible Tidbits, we follow Jesus into the temple courts, where His authority is openly challenged by the chief priests, scribes, and elders. Through a piercing question, a parable of a vineyard, and a quotation from Psalm 118, Jesus reveals who He truly is—the beloved Son and the rejected cornerstone.
